Indoor Sour spyder complete grow (mdanzig)

that guy rubbed me just a bit the wrong way because i was rereading his post to get all info and when i was done i posted part of my post, took a break to puff and he posted that he killed them again . i love these things with all of me and at first i was straight up bothered but later after thinking on it i decided that i wanted him to succeed more then ever, sorry if that was dickish. some or anyone can do great on a first grow if they open the mind to feel the plants. grls do tend to excel at feeling. i cant wait to see her work. i am excited. but it will be in the morn as i just ate my cookies friend. to bed with no choice. i bake em strong.

till then...........stay medicated

AFN is the AUTO mother ship co-op lol :stylez rasta smoke:We are all here for good vibes and like minds that all think outside the tent LOL

And not everyone here is strictly auto. I run 90% photo but absolutely love it here. They are slowly winning me over with the autos though.

Yep, used to think the big tent was for Photos and the little tent was for little Autos. A couple little Autos outgrew the little tent ended up in the big tent, one thing led to another the big tent is full of Autos and I have no future Photo grows planned.

:peace: grow automatically

LOL im reverse ..my small tent is for photo and my big tent is for auto LOL but with so many auto coming out DAILY there is really not much need to cross photo with auto to make it auto..Cuz its already done for you lol Unless you want to do all the breeding from scratch.

I still like the photos mainly for the high sativa strains. I haven't ran any autos yet that really give me that soar that I look for in 75%+ sativas.

i live for mother natures prozac, the anti-depressent effect from a good sativa so i will probably need to stay with some sativas also. but i need more then just to be happy. sleep is nice to. and pain relief. ah

st....me.......CDM

Nahh man, no science here, just results. I can look at my roots and tell they are much healthier.

@TD, you are correct, they are smaller. They do the same thing with smart pots as they do with CFL bulbs. They call them "equivalent to". So, when you buy a 5 what they are saying is it is a 5 gallon equivalent to standard pots. I thought the same thing and emailed them, that was their response, that a 5 gallon smart pot will hold the same amount of roots as a 5 gallon standard pot. That was when I started thinking I am going up in size. Will probably make the jump to 10 for my photos and stay with 5 or 7 for my autos. Maybe the 10 for the large genetic autos like DP has. I have yet to see any autos that would veg as big a their gear in the same time frame.

I wish companies would stop all that 'equivalent to...' bullshit, it's so damn misleading. I guess it's cool they owned up to it so fast, but that doesn't make lying about it in the first place acceptable.

I feel the same way. I like a good indica, but I love a good sativa. I'd really love to see someone work with autos and old school or landrace sativas to bring down the flowering time so they could be grown by more people. The idea of a Durban, Swazi, or Thai high that could be done outdoors in areas with short summers gets me excited. I'd love to think that if I ever have the space I might try it myself, but that's not likely.

If you can sew smartpots can be made from landscaping fabrics, forget the exact name.

You can use 6+ oz non-woven poly fabric. Many 'weed blockers' you find at lawn & garden or large mart or depot stores this time of year are made of this material and can be used if you're not looking for a ton of pots, or you can buy in bulk and get serious sizes or amounts. You can even find volume charts to build genuine gallons-sized pots for yourself. And you can use a high-end, multi-material construction adhesive (the stuff that comes in giant tubes) if you can't sew, but I have no idea if it could leach into the soil or not. Many folks flip them so the glued seem is on the outside so I don't think that would be much of an issue, but I'm no chemist so YMMV.
