Live Stoner Chat Strains for Rhumatoid Arthritis

Hello All!

Plant is doing good under LED lights so far. Still experimenting with these lights as I was a cfl grower for all of last year. Moved the lights about 18 " above 9 Day old seedling.

Happy New Year to all

Howdy Folks and Season Greeting!

My wife has developed rheumatoid arthritis and I was wondering what strains are good for her situation.

Thanks

Howdy Jackson,

My heart breaks for your wife. RA is not fun, my grandparents suffered from it.
I noticed you are in Texas, so no Rx cannabis for y'all, I so hope that changes soon!

The following is a link to a medical research article on the effects of CBD on RA. The cool thing about this study is that they give actually dosages of CBD's. I hope it helps.

The nonpsychoactive cannabis constituent cannabidiol is an oral anti-arthritic therapeutic in murine collagen-induced arthritis

Hey Everyone, no need to send peeps off site. In Case you didn't know we have a great medical section that can answer your questions, and develop a treatment plan for your Wife.

@Jackson Looking at some other things can maybe help your Wife more than strain selection.

First look here in the AFN medical area
https://www.autoflower.org/forums/general-medical-discussion.64/

Then here a couple of threads you should look at as well to help.

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/magnesium-facts.26617/

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/inflammation-and-pain-management.26616/

Also food can be a major contributor, so maybe a look at this area

and this thread in particular

https://www.autoflower.org/forums/let-food-be-thy-medicine-and-medicine-be-thy-food.166/

Hope it helps
