Grow Mediums Strakeys does blackstone in autopots for the first time

Here is a quick update on the little ladies. Both are recovering from a transplant, one better than the other. Both are showing new growth also one better than the other. Cal mag issues are slowly resolving. View attachment 689001
Hey bro, did you pre-charge your coco with anything to start? (I do 1ml/l of cal-mag for the initial watering). What day are they on now? Have you started feeding any nutes yet... With coco I start feeding on day 5.

Hey Hans. I pre charged with some coco a and b with cal mag. Flushed 15 litres through both pots at ph 5.7. Initially i had started in smaller pots and transplanted.....i shoulda waited. Ive been feeding about 600 ppm with about a ml a litre of cal mag. They are on day 19......just picking it up again.....im debating on starting the air to give em a boost.

So day 25 has rolled around and here we are. Currently ive been running the air pump and there has been improvement with growth. Could be timing but i think its helping. I havent turned on autopots yet but maybe next week. They are gonna be stunted for sure so ive cracked another bean and put it in a fabric pot. I am about to water tonight so no ec levels yet.

So day 28 rolls around and the plants are starting to finally make a push to grow. I will be turning on the pots on friday night. I am gonna let the coco dry out a little bit unless i see a ph problem arise. Hopefully the plants can push out some more roots. The most recent pic.

So we are on day 32 now and i have some stats. The bigger girl is 5 inches tall and wide and the smaller girl is 4 inches tall and 3 wide. Hopefully with this pickup in growth they can start exploding soon. Lots of lessons learned here with 1st time autopots....mainly patience:face: here is a pic.

I learned a few lessons on this, my first autopot grow also. Stunted one lady, I believe while transferring from the paper towel to the coco. So next time I am germing the seeds right in the pots. I also noticed what looked like overwatering when the girls where young so I'm going back to 50/50 coco/perlite.

It's all a learning process, I'm hoping to really dial it in this next grow. Good luck!

I believe while repotting i ended up doing the same thing because of the immediate calmag def that occured. Foliar spray didnt help, just the constant watering with calmag. The one plant had a good root system and the other broke. The broken girl is still suffering from calmag def but is slowly coming out of it.

So on day 34 i decided to leaf tuck the bigger girl....leaving the smaller one to fate at this point. No measurements taken but slow steady growth. A good idea was tossed out by someone i cant remember who, to get some extra pots and start early to keep the grow moving like a revolving door. Props to that idea who ever had it. I should follow suit.
