Just wondering what the normal cause of this. No immediate danger of toppling but
wonder what can be common cause. I have definitely not been overwatering.

My guess is overcast skies could mean it;s pushing upwards, currently outdoor under glass. Greenhouse style.

There is only one reason they stretch, not enough light.Theres not much you can do unless you have lights.Just hope for some sunny days, because they need at least ten to twelve hours of sun to grow correctly.

Ok I maybe should have checked that out before going the auto route. Oh well thats where I am and will have to do the best I can really. I needed to go auto cause I don't use lights and this summer I need to be out and about more and that means I cannot cover them for the 12/12 requirements photoperiods need.

Well have to suck it and see. thx

I germed some seeds 2 weeks ago because according to the weather report last week it was supposed to be really sunny. The first week of their lives the plants didn't get a single sunny day......Oh well, the last few days have been sunny and you can definately see what a difference it makes. They're photoperiods from last years bagseed grow though so it's not that bad. Can you move the plants around? I just take my plants from a window facing east in the morning to one facing west in the afternoon which is good for them, the spot they're destined for gets direct sunlight almost all day except at noon because of some trees.

Sure I can move them I am doing what I can so they get the most light.

I think Autoflower seed banks and packets should be much clearer that you actually need 18/6 for optimal growth. It makes them seem easier than they are without that somewhat important bit of info.

You know... people put a lot of effort in (and some risk) and it's waste of time if it does not work. Pro's and cons I guess and ultimately they are a plant that has had human intervention crossing high THC photo's with Ruderalis. I guess I am suspicious cause I had a good photo yield last year and Auto's are somewhat of an unknown quantity.

Anyway I will have to push on with it.

I grow a couple early(like now!), then by the time they finish, I`ve got another couple on the go...With better results! I get two crops and if the first isn`t huge, I`m not too bothered, at least I`ve got some meds by June/July...then again come septemberish, i get some more! :peace:

It's your job to know how to grow your pot, not the seedbank's to teach you. Any cannabis needs a lot of light when it's starting out. Honestly I think it's a bit early to be sprouting, I'd wait for better weather and more light availability later in the year. Autos are not of an unknown quality, they have been proven time and time again. Take a look through last year's outdoor auto grows and see what worked for people, there's a lot of good info there and you get to see the results! Best of luck and happy growing.
