Stunted deformed plants ! badly swollen stems

It could be a rare thing where the seeds were bad.I would suggest what Happy said and start with some diff soil and new seeds.

I had 5 seeds that didn't even pop once but I got a new 5 pack of seeds for free.

I think it's possible definitely. We all know genetics can be faulty.

EDIT: When you say 'whole batch' do you mean a whole packet of 5 or 10? One packet could have been mistreated or came from a possible sick mother or something. I think it's within the realm of possibility. Without more information like I said it's kinda impossible for us to know.~

Get some new seeds, new soil, but first completely sterilise your grow room and equipment and start a grow again. Record what you do and results and full size pictures of the entire plant along the way and post and then we can help you.

Whole batch means all the packets ordered from DP this time .... Many packets

Hi Littlebadger :) I've let one of the Dutch Passion team know about your issue (they might not see it in here) so somebody will be along to take a look soon!

Hang tight and we'll get some insight on this!
All the best

.new soil ? You mean a different brand ?
i will try that .... And I'm going to try dinafem seeds......
but I really wish I knew what it was....it looks like disease to me

Yes it could be disease hence why I said empty your grow room, sterlise it and all your grow equipment, get new soil (as in after you empty and clean your room, go to the hydro store and by some new soil because any soil you may have in stock maybe infected, so new soil will rule that out.) The brand of soil doesn't matter as long as it's one that people know and say works with canna, like Plagron or BioBizz etc etc. Just keep in mind it's possible there's a disease in your room and you want to either dump everything, or if you keep it make sure it's disinfected. That means floors, walls, growing equipment. Anything living in that room needs to be killed. Then start over again with brand new soil and brand new seeds.

Sometimes fixing something is more important than knowing what the cause of the problem was :)

So if you follow my suggested fix I would say your problem will be gone.

Have you been reusing your soil? If so, for how many grows and what are you doing (if anything) between the grows to the soil?

What are you feeding with, how much and how often? What kind of humidity and temps have you been running? Any crazy days where it's spiked?

Could you please post a few more pictures of the stems and possibly some of the plants as a whole? There may be some other signs of what's going on by looking at more of the plant.

Thanks brother!

Is there any chance you had a bad batch of soil or possibly a soil virus? Just wondering, as I seem to have noticed a rash of bad soils and possibly virus deformations lately.

Blue .... Thanks very much
i really don't want to suggest it is any fault of DP
ive no idea what's going on here.

i have never re used soil ... And never stored soil.
bought new every time in sealed bags .

i will set about sterilising everything and spraying with insecticide .

ive been running the same feeding / temperature regime for 2 years .... There have been no sudden changes
