Outdoor Summer greenhouse adventure

Wish I could just pack some of that purple mazar in a bowl and smoke up. Nice greenhouse shame about the mould :( :bong:

Round 4 is starting to pop up. I'm contemplating a winter run. It doesn't freeze here but does get cold. Wouldn't mind some winter shorties :0

Round 3 I think they are around week 10-11. Going to leave them on molasses and water let them finish up. By the leaves I think some are almost finished and other still have a bit.

I just did some math and realized that I'm in the middle of week 12 for round 3. So I need to start chopping.

First three Cobras chopped. Little bits of purple.beautiful weed. nice dense sticky...I love Cobra and the purple is new and cool for me.

Wow it's been a bit since I've updated. round three is done with ups and downs.

I just can't figure out the Purple Jems half of them ended up so spindly and larfy that they will be going strait into the hash can. They all have pretty colors and smell great but there is not much to them. Don't know if that's the heat or my nute program. They other half of them filled in fine although I wouldn't call it dense.

The Aphids had gone to town. One stunted plant that was covered head to toe I just tossed. I cleaned off what I could. What was left is covered in bugs, uck! But they are nice looking and I don't want to waste it. I will probably dry ice keif and then ISO extract to remove as much of the bug matter as possible. Super bummed about it.

One crazy thing I noticed on my Cobras.
I have seeds I pollinated off of 4 Cobra plants. For the first rounds I was using the seeds from one plant which had a particular flower structure I liked. These ones I started from a different mom and 2 or 3 of the offspring had these split branches which I've never seen before. Resulting in double tip nugs; I wish I had noticed that while they were growing I would have pollinated them in hopes of catching that trait. I will certainly be growing more from that seed to try and find it and capture it.

Round 4 is off to a rough start. They have all been transplanted into 6" pots. The Cobras got transpalnted a couple day before everything else and are doing better. I was in and out so I didn't take as good as care I could have during germination. 5 Stone dragons up (will most likely lose one), 5 Purple JemxStone Dragon, about 7 cobras. hopefully they will all be female :)

Looks like the SD sprout didn't make it, but the one I thought was damping off is still alive, although curled and hasn't grown. Other SDxPJ came up making two sprouts.

Seemed early but:
Cobra 3 confirmed male (1 probable male), 2 female and 1 or 2 undecided.
SDxPJ 2 Confrimed Female, rest undecided
SD 2 confirmed female, one male, and rest undecided.

I'll snap some pics soon.

Correction the SDXPJ is 4 female, one undecided and two sprouts

The small pots to start the seeds was a bad idea. I'm pretty sure it stunted a couple of them. I did not transplant in time. Keeping up with a perpetual grow is challenging to say the least.

This round has also had a wider spread of sprouting times. I fed the young ones some compost tea powder with a B1 supplement that had some humics. The ones who were a little farther along I gave the same with a 1/2 tsp /gallon of 16-16-16.

Cobras females:

Cobra Males most of them look runty.

Stone Dragon Male for some reason his leaves are all clawed up.

Stone dragon females. Back right is the one I thought was going to die. When I transplanted it looked like it was dampening off at the base but it's still alive. So we'll see.

Some folks have asked about my mold problems in the greenhouse. Although there are some other factors this probably explains it best:

ZONE 17: Marine effects

The climate in this zone features mild, wet, almost frostless winters and cool summers with frequent fog or wind. On most days and in most places, the fog tends to come in high and fast, creating a cooling and humidifying blanket between the sun and the earth, reducing the intensity of the light and sunshine. Some heat-loving plants (citrus, hibiscus, gardenia) don’t get enough heat to fruit or flower reliably. In a 20-year period, the lowest winter temperatures in Zone 17 ranged from 36 to 23°F (2 to –5°C). The lowest temperatures on record range from 30 to 20°F (–1 to –7°C).Of further interest in this heat-starved climate are the highs of summer, normally in the 60 to 75°F (16 to 24°C) range. The average highest temperature in Zone 17 is only 97°F (36°C). In all the other adjacent climate zones, average highest temperatures are in the 104 to 116°F (40 to 47°C) range.

In the 15 for so years I've been here 86 is about the hottest I remember...97 and people would spontaneously combust! :peace:
