I have 9 dutch passion white widow about 17-20 days old in 5gal pots with 2.5 gal tga super soil around the bottom 2.5 gallon happy frog all the way down the center and top layer. I fed them a Bennie tea 2 days ago with oregonism xl, molasses, nitrozym, and hygrozyme. The plants loved it they perked right up and are nice deep green almost waxy leaves. But today the leaves are curling down pretty hard but no tip burn to speak of. I feel like the roots are just finding the super soil. Is it to hot? Is this the beginning of a phos burn?

If they have grown enough roots to hit the SS, they should be fine. Don't worry so much man. When asking questions it is best to give us all the info: Auto or photo? how much light? And pictures tell a whole lot. Now that I've been an ass, just don't worry. We all tend to worry about every little thing and it takes the fun out of it. You are going to spend a lot of time waiting for harvest, so you may as well enjoy it as much as you can. :Sharing One:

Haha you are right bro this is my passion I should enjoy it. The plants are autos I meant to say that. They are under 2 600w hps in a 4x8 tent air cooled by 6in hydro farm inline. Temps are around 80. I know it's a little high but not too alarmingly so. Sorry if i seem panicked its my first time in TLO. I know some of you guys around here have plenty of exp with autos in TLO. Just looking for a little reassurance I guess.

.how do they look now?are there any bit darker spots on the leaves? If not it aint Phos def. sounds like yer doin alright man.clawing to some degrees are a pretty normal thing. for the most part anyway.ya gotta keep an eye on em if they stay full clawed out for 24 hrs. or more, growin grooves dude.ya read the Revs book yet?his is a more Natural style of growing with organics vs. true organics.there is a vid that mostly describes what that is.and its by him too.The Rev.

Here are some pics of the clawing and also some weird leaf twisting.

the curled up leaves around the edges are from heat stress and your droopy leaves may be from the lights just coming on, nutrient level low, or over watering.. i would say to lighten up on the watering or add more nutes and pull the lights up and inch or 2

I didn't read, but do you have an oscillating fan blowing over the tops of your plants to distribute the heat? If not, you will get hot spots on your plants.

Hey thanx for the replies. I did some more research and decided it was most likely hot spots/heat stress. I did not have an oscillating fan going. I went and picked one up today. The over all temp in the room is 75-80 which is not terrible. But with out a fan moving air around it was likely radiant heat from the lights. So I got the fan set up I'll let you guys know how it goes in a couple days.

Here are some pictures from a few days ago the seem to be doing ok. Only 2 of the plants had the curling going on.
