Mephisto Genetics Super Soil vs AN in Coco. Sour Crinkle, BlueToof, and Gold Glue

Day 1 Super Soil Sour Crinkles. View attachment 846040 lll

Thought you used smaller net like pots. And is that an autopot I see?

Great to see you try another approach to getting quality out of autos. I'm still trying to replicate what I saw you do a while back with the small pots!!! And I'll probably be working thru that for months still. You just power thru things quickly and effectively and have the experience under your belt so that not much goes wrong.

Hey, first time trying this. It was about 25 days old I would guess when I took the clone. Not sure about anything with Auto Clones. I do know it rooted Quickly, 6 days. So it didn't skip much time. I would imagine it will veg about 2 weeks before Flowering, the plant I took it from is preflowering. Say 9 days after I took the clone.
In my experience the clones finish a few weeks to a month after mom. My biggest clones to date hit 15g dry in 1 gallon organic soil.

I do use smaller Net like pots for my Coco Nute grows. This is Coco with Organics. It is not the same beast. Really, 2gal is smaller than recommend for Super Soil use. 3 gal is suggested, to avoid deficiencies. I have Recharge for that purpose, because of the 2 gal pot size they could get hungry...as you are just using STRAIGHT water. Yes that is a small Autopot container, no Air dome and no Autopot base. Just needed a 2 gal pot, and I don't use Autopots. Might as well use the expensive pot for something!
These plants will be handwatered from the top, with straight RO water. Recharge 1x per week starting week 3? And some Molasses in flower.... maybe.

I will transplant my Nute plants this weekend, also into 2 gal pots. I need to compare plants based on pot size first, as this is my first time growing these strains and first time using Super Soil.
This way I can say how each Sour Crinkle, Blue Toof, and Gold Glue in 2 gal pots of Coco...just fed different.

I am not concerned with yield that much, unless it's horrible. I want to get a High Quality end product, grown organic in Coco. I won't do Soil... Ever. Coco and organics are harder, but I believe it can be done well. Just like people say you "can't clone Autos"...yet I have one rooted in 6 days right now
Ive Been looking at earthjuice "just for coir" as an organic coco approach but i don't like having to play w ph and tds lol.

I have it on my list of organic ferts to try! I want to learn more about whats in it. The super soil im used to is tga subcools recipe. I blend my own amendments w typical organic ferts in to a coco/soil blend. Ive been marveling over the 100% coco growers results (like yourself) and have wanted to do a coco only run but im so used the quality with organics that im hesitant in the endeavor. I absolutely will try super soil if u give ur badge of approval in the end. I have a brick of coco just waiting for me to pull the trigger on an organic option.

Why no airdomes?

Why no airdomes?
2 reasons. Firstly, I need to see how Super Soil works in Coco...it's my first time using it. And 2nd Airdomes add an element that could skew my results. As stated before Organic growing is different. Only feeding water instead of nutes. If you dry out the Coco too much you will destroy what you are trying to accomplish with organics. My style of growing with nutes, airdomes, and small pots is basically hydro with a medium. You want the Coco to dry out faster to feed more. Totally different.
I have so many different set ups and have been growing for so long, I am always experimenting. This experiment is to see how well Super Soil does vs Nutrient feeding. Quality is my main concern with this experiment. I already know what I can do with nutrients. I press Rosin daily and quality is my only concern for myself. I never run out of material to press. A good grower always wants the best product possible. I am not concerned with yield for this experiment. I didn't not need to worry about good yields ever with my normal methods. Peace, slow.

Btw, if Super Soil does well. My next experiment with it will be adding Airdomes to see what happens compared to without.

Hey if you get a chance go check out my Double In 3quart pots with Airdomes thread. I will always have Airdomes and small pots going. And plenty of other things. I will update pics soon. My phone sucks, but my wife's is decent. I just borrow hers for pics.
