Mephisto Genetics Super Soil vs AN in Coco. Sour Crinkle, BlueToof, and Gold Glue

Hey, unfortunately some strains have a limit to how big they get just due to genetics. Sour Crack, I have done well over 50+ seeds of. It is the fastest strain you will do. Yes the Airdomes speed up the growth in smaller pots. Yes a 15l pot will potentially extend veg and get slightly bigger. But unless you get a large pheno 15l of Coco is a large pot for a small strain. Expecting 200g from a Sour Crack is unlikely. They grow so fast, and most of the phenos are small. That is why I run that strain in small containers. It's a good SOG strain, something you want to finish fast and do more of. It is best to rock them out quickly and put 3 of them in the space you would grow a single medium sized plant in. Knowing the strain growth is super important when purposely trying to manipulate it's size. For example, Toof Decays can be manipulated to stay small and finish faster in smaller pots. But it can also get rather large and extend growth cycle if you give it more space.
Pot size and air injection will effect growth on plants. Genetics limit some factors. Expecting monster Sour Crack Is just not going to happen. It isn't a large strain. I have had a handful of the medium sized phenos, and the yields are not much different on that strain between plants. I religiously get 1.5-2+ oz dried in 1/2 gal pots. But they finish at 8 weeks. I had a couple in 2 gal pots recently. Bigger, slightly yes...but not worth the amount of floor space and time it takes. An Extra week and minimal difference in yield. I would rather do 2 Smaller Sour Crack plants that yield 1.5-2 oz and finish faster vs 1 in a bigger pot that take longer to finish. 3-4 oz of all nice buds instead of 2oz in the same space. Just some strains are WORTHLESS to use big pots on. Sour Crack perfect example. Peace

Ok, the Airdome has been hooked up for 2 days on my 1 gal Sour Crinkle. The growth is pretty amazing! The 2 Super Soil Sour Crinkle plants are not drying out very fast. I moved a little fan by them to help speed things up.
Gonna be honest, I am not sure the Super Plants will be able to catch up on speed of growth on this round. But it is early, and final product quality is my only concern. If the quality is superior, I have faith in my growing skills that the quantity will go up quickly. They all look good. Will take pics later with the wife's phone. Peace slow

I'm getting old man! Us old folks don't care about expensive phones. My wife has one, that is good enough for me. I broke mine and her Camera works well. In all honesty, I am kind of scaling back on some technology. Smart phones are great for many reasons, but they are also destroying our youth and many adults now as well. I took my kid to a class for Martial arts the other night. My wife and I were the only parents not on their phones the entire hour. The parents pay to play on their phone and ignore their children for an hour.
Nobody talks on the phone. Only texting now. Human interaction is becoming less and less. I see 90% of people on their phones in any given moment, anywhere, anytime. Driving, eating, Jiu Jitsu! It's an epidemic. And they are calling it "selfie syndrome" a 40% decrease in empathy and 58% increase in narcissistic behavior has been noted in college graduates over the past 15 years. I believe it, it is blatantly obvious. I have seen my own friends and family change. It's weird. I don't like that aspect of technology. People are becoming to machine like. Lack social skills, lack feelings, will text instead of talk, expect things to be instantaneous, expect things to be perfect. It is the world we live in.

I am old too. And resisted the phone tech and media stuff for a couple of decades. So I'll never lack social skills etc because I was not brought up like the new kids. But I am starting to find the technology to be beneficial now. The tech has matured in a lot of ways. I have a cam setup in my tent that allows me to monitor basic stuff. And the tent is on another property. Very useful.
Anyway, hope you get a better camera soon, and a phone can do that for you.

I agree, many cool things have came out in the past 10 years. I am not dogging the technology. I'm just disappointed in the way that it had made people change. Good friends are different people. Family members don't talk. Shit, even boyfriend/girlfriend and husband/wives talk very rarely. My brother is in a weird relationship. They hooked up on an App, just t bang really It's a new generation thing. But have been seeing each other 2 years. Super Selfish girl, but she admits it. She doesn't show any signs of really caring according to him. She doesn't like living with him and has said she could see herself living alone forever. We will see a massive decline in new babies being born, watch in the the next 10-20 years. Marriages will be way down, people are happy being alone. Taught to be self sufficient, but lack basic human interaction skills. I am not blaming the kids either. It is just the way of life now in a way. I will just raise my boy right, he is a good kid. That's all we can do anymore is raise our kids right.
BTW, I have never been into taking pictures of everything. I have grown countless plants. Document what I can and help people if I can. Take pics with whatever I have handy. Taking pictures of MJ is an art really. You can have a stunning plant and a shit camera or vice versa. Lighting is so important. My hats off to everyone who takes good pics of MJ. After having a couple phones go to shit, I just got a cheaper one this time. I was going to take my wife's old phone, but it started acting up too. So I bought her a nice Samsung. I can just sneak hers and be happy that I saved a fee hundred $$$!!!
