New Grower Supercropping turns into a super SNAP. So first time cloning.

I managed to snap a beautiful stem while supercropping. Instead of taping it I took the option to make a clone. Ive never done this before and it was on a whim. I

Cut it, put it in water immideately. Then I prepped my rapid rooter, took out the cutting, cut it at 45 degrees, swirled it in the cloning gel. then placed in my rooter. I cut off the frst set of leaves and snipped the top. Is this process something that could work?

I have NEVER cloned before or have done much research. I had to move fast as I hear air can get in much like in your blood stream.

Please tell me she has a fighting chance.

Is this an auto or a normal photo? Can't clone autos I believe.. Because they have a set time of life and you can't prolong the veg period.

From now on, when you do your super cropping, you can follow a couple of guidelines for a better chance at being successful.

Give it a good water a couple of hours before you crop it.

Pinch the area you want to bend, pinch it hard so you can feel the cells in the stem crush in between the fingers.

Then, bend it down a little past where you want it. Because it will pop back up a lilttle.

Use clean hands, don't want any bacteria in the membranes.

Make sure you position your fingers in the correct direction for bending, cuz you only get one chance.

While lollipoping my auto white widow, without ANY care, I just snapped off some branches with my thumb and nail, stuck it in the ground in my salad garden, and it went of to flower and mature. No gel, not knife, no nothing. This is one of the most resilient plants out there. Give it love and it shall flourish.

Thanks a bunch! Really cool to watch eh. The thing wilted right over and was lying on its side. I figured, timbeeerrrrrrr. Ok. Well good attempt. After reading a bit I just made a slight nute solution, watered the rooter and misted the cutting. I woke up to this at full salute reaching for the stars. :dance2:

Groff! Your the one with the mad rdwc alien setup. Im not copying but will use it for reference in the future! NICE. I have a question for you. I have a small 12 liter rdwc setup, would it be worth me adding a reservoir? I would like to let the plant go a week or two without too much love. But I feel at 12 liters I will be in their and changing and topping up weekly. Res or no Res. Auto top up would be nice. But will that extend the time in between res/nute changes? Or is it always desirable to flush the system weekly?
