Just discovered this 4th blade on a 3-bladed fan leaf.

rarer than a 3-leaved clover, a 2-eyed cyclops, or a 5-legged snake....

This was taken a few days ago, at day 25. LST did not go so well this time, after the Christmas party my shaky hungover hands bent that main stem a bit too much and it got a bit broken.
Luckily only a crack, not completely separated, but I had to let it heal and grow vertically, as the crack was getting bigger when she was tied up. The main stem is now too rigid to bend it any more.
Guess I'll be getting a fair share of popcorn buds......oh welll, as long as she turns red....:)
Stretching has not yet stopped, maybe someone can tell me after how many days does stretch stop for Red Poison?Thanx

I think it's a bit late for that, almost at day 30, I'm just gonna let her grow and hope for the best.
It's a really easy strain to LST, the stem cracking was 100% my error, I didn't take into account that flowering had started and the stem had become more rigid.

They are looking like they are loving life ti to max tho .. keep up the good work my man .. i will be starting my micro grow thread later today
.. i will be sure keeping an eye on this one

Actually I decided to kill this grow. In my tiny space I only have one option:LST. I have failed it and by letting the stem grow upwards I obtained popcorn buds on a stick. The lower fan leaves were too far from the light, if it's one thing I hate, that is lanky plants.
This strain is wonderful to LST, so many budsites, I can see why it is labeled as a high yielder. I will definitely try it again and I recommend it, especially to those who can give her the right condition she deserves.

Hey teaparty

Kind of a shame to kill her off right away..she was looking nice.
What was your goal with the LST?
could you show your setup..lights and the angle they are fitted?

some people dont lst and still harvest a nice crop so i wonder why you fear those popcornbuds.

Good luck with your next run!
Buddy
