Indoor taiga and polarlight #2 in dwc under l.e.d

you can see the rapid growth getting underway already, looking really green, lush and well positioned for canna glory. Will you be able to fit all 3 mature females in the same tent I wonder ? I hope so. It looks great. One of the guys on UK420, a really good grower called Organic Jim, has Taiga a few days ahead of you in coco and she has really grown well so far. So I think you will see them really take off. And all this on 300W of LED is great. I reckon you could keep those lights on 50% power all the way through the grow and still deliver a great result. One of these days I will try to persaude you to run one of our photoperiod strains under those LED's to see how they perform!

seymour thanks for that root shot, for plants 21 days from seed they have esablished a pretty soild root zone if i say so my self. im thinking the polar light is going to explode with bud sights she looks like shes ready to go any day now.just imagine if it were productive to clone autos some how, this would go much much faster. (as iff its not good enough that they grow in half the time of a photo)that tent is going to b st st STUED!!!!:clap:

I'm digging the one in the middle. Looking great Seymour as usual. I'm the same way in my feedings. Only time I've ever went by directions on a label is if it's the first time I'm using something. I let the plants tell me what they want and or need and go from there. Every plant is different. Thats whAt makes growing so interesting. Once you Gauge them in you can properly push them to there limits without hurting them and reap your reward at the end. Tho I'm a soil guy and your DWC the main technique is the same. I normally feed Veg nutes as well for the first 2 weeks after they sex. The Nitrogen helps with all the growth in the pre flower stretch. Once they stop stretching I switch to full bloom. I find they get a litle bigger and sturdier that way. When I've switched to full bloom right after sex I noticed they don't stretch as much and put more of there focus into flowering. Keep up the great work Seymour. I love watching

your explanation is spot on, i know the taiga and the polarlights are realtively small plants that are only supposed to yield around 50 g each so i thought id be a little bit cheeky and try and make them grow bigger by using the veg nutrients for a longer period lol we shall see if it pays off in the coming weeks , i also think thats 1 of the beauties of growing in dwc purely because you can change the ratios of the feeds when ever it suits you which isnt as easy to do in soil, it sounds like you have a good understanding of plant growth so you should maybe try your hand at hydro purely because you can get more involved with what your actually feeding them and once you have the understanding of the different phases a plants life cycle consists of and what nutrients they need for each phase then the sky is the limit, growing is not about giving the plants loads of feed its about giving them the right feeds/ratios at the right time of the cycle for them to excel :thumbs:

Yea I've dabbled but not nearly as much as soil nor do I know as much. I def would not try any amount near the amount of plants I do In soil as I would hydro but the reward is higher. I still have all the necessary equipment if I were to get back into it. I have a few buckets, a Tds/PPM meter, Ph And ec as well. Believe me your last few grows have made me want to dust it off and give it a whirl with autos. I've only done photos in DWC. I actually think when I'm done my current run I will run a few autos Dwc. I'll continue to take notes

hey seymour I've followed all your grows and i'm inspired and will start my own dwc project. I've already some TD seeds in rockwool for 2 days. I hope I can ask you.... Could you please tell me something about your air-pomp, is it inside of your growtent or outside?And does it change something?

i keep the air-pump outside the grow room purely because of the temps, if the air-pump is sucking in warm air from inside the tent this will be blowing straight into my buckets and raising the heat in the res, try and keep the air surrounding the pump as cold as possible
