Alright yall so I finally got moved into my place and am able to get things going again. First I'll list the equipment I will be using during this grow.

3ft × 2ft× 5ft grow tent
2 6 inch active air fans
1 6 inch carbon filter
250 watt HPS along with smaller CFLS for extra lighting
Fox farm ocean forest soil with dolomite and perlite added.
Fox farm nutrients, cal mag, molasses
(Just want to use all this up and will be using organics next run)

I started the germination process last week on Thursday. I planted 3 seeds into the rockwool and all 3 popped around Sunday. I decided to be able to keep things small for the moment I would place the rockwool cubes into red solo cups and then plant them into their final 4 gallon pots once they were ready. Right now I have a 200 watt CFL about a foot away from the 3 seedlings. I used the double cup method on the solo cups so there shouldn't be any stress on the transplant.

I also plan on topping all 3 of the diesel berry's on the 4th node, only once. Then I will tie branches down about a week after to help get light to the lower parts of the plants.

I hope yall enjoy amd please leave feedback and advice as I'm still definitely a noob. I will be posting pics when I get home.

Smoke somethin

Here's a pic of the babies and my set up. I'll try and update atleast once a week.

Also does anyone know how soon I can get the hps in here? Thanks

Thanks for the advice man I moved the HPS in yesterday and already notice a difference.

Update - Day 9 since breaking surface

Alright so my idiot self dropped 2 of the 3 solo cups when taking them out to water and as you can see I obviously stressed those 2 a little bit. This was a couple days ago and they both look like they are bouncing back.

The distance between nodes is smaller on the shorter 2 plants so I'm thinking that's may be shorter, bushier plants which is what I'm looking for. Once I'm at the 4th node I will top all 3 just once and then LST.

Temps are 68-75 lights off and 75-82 with the HPS on.

Thanks for checking in.

Day 17

Okay so a little update for everybody..

Not much has been going on besides repotting the girls and only topping one. I've seen people have great results topping autos but I chickened out and decided to LST two of them and top one of them. We will see which method churns out the better plant.

Other than that I think overall progress is pretty slow. My temps are good, lighting is good(250 hps with 4 32watt CFLS) but I think I may of had to much breeze blowing om the plants. Can this cause stress which in turn slows down growth? I have turned my fans down to the level 1 setting.

Any tips or comments appreciated. Have a good day AN!

Topped plant is in back right corner. Beheading was done yesterday..o and no nutes added yet.

If you really want the full effect from LST'ing don't just lean her over, bend the top down!

I see what you're saying and I tried but was afraid of snapping the stem and also had a hard time getting the top all the way down. What do you use to tie down? I was thinking a wire hanger cut Into pieces may work. Let me know please amd thanks for the advice man

Gave one of the diesel berry's to a friend of mine and kept 2. One on the left is untopped and only LSTD and the one on the right was topped. Obviously this strain did not respond well to the topping. I've seen great results with people topping autos but I probably won't do it again. Sucks bc I can tell the smaller topped plant is going to be alot danker than the lstd plant. View attachment 434759

I apologise for not responding I use paperclips & ribbons.

Looking good!
