Yeah I was just there, thanks man. you get a more accurate reading if calibrated as close as you can to what your testing. Do I need to be calibrating to the exact number (1382 ppm)on the calibrating solution pack?

yes, exact;y to the 1382ppm and it will be as close as you can get it, which will be damn close. HM has some of the most stringent specs out there!! I got rid of my Hanna meter due to the accuracy of HM pens!!

briman is correct that was off the wall nonsense...The reason they calibrate the machine is for proper calculation to calculate to something other then the solutions number is no good!!!!!!!
