Mephisto Genetics Testing some Mephisto...for Mephisto!

Ya as @slowandeasy said don’t get fancy with microbes in there! The boxes work good enough making mycelium and microbial life maybe some recharge once a week is all u need! The box does all the fancy work for u!

I dont support Recharge as the best Microbes to use for a few reasons. I was told that it contains Heavy Metals(not confirmed...but URB Microbes told me) also Powdered Microbes are inferior to Microbes in liquid Suspension, and I believe Mammoth P, Urb, Tribus to be more tailored to cannabis specifically. That being said, use your chosen Microbes 1 to 2x per week only. Daily use of Microbes is not needed and can actually do more harm than good according to URB microbes owner. I was actually surprised at how honest he was and encouraged me to use less often and less amounta than the package suggests. You want to use it only 1 to 2x per week Max. As a way to RESET your nutrient balance. Using too often confuses the plants and they rely on it eventually. Basically if you use too often, it is counter-productive. It is not advised to use on a lower level, buy very frequently. Daily watering of microdoses is a waste and can actually cause plants to rely on it. Good luck, slow

Looks like you have some testers to use up. Im not ragging on Recharge btw. In just going by what I have heard and learned. Regardless use microbes only 1 to 2 times per week max. Mammoth P ia supposed to focus more on unlocking plants ability to uptake P specifically. This is important to know, as KIS soil is somewhat low on P according to TAD, and using Mammoth P is advised to help unlock the plants potential to uptake P. According to Mammoth P, you can actually feed plants MORE PK usually with use of Mammoth P than without. So the plants can take more and thrive. Vs the thought that you use less nutres with microbes. The plants should be healthier and able to eat more than without. Peace, slow

Hey it’s all good man you’ve been doing this waaaay longer than me so def liking hearing things that can be easily improved! :pass:

Hey buddy would this actually be stem rot from soil and mulch being to wet right near the stem?? I realize now this part of stem is part that had been sitting with soil piled around it supporting it after it super stretched on me! Think soil wicked water lol the way up there and rotted my stem!

Thinking root actually was fine and was stem!

Looking like probably stem rot amigos?? Those roots even after dying seem way too white to be root rot but 1st plant I’ve killed so just guessing here!:doh:

Wow, Im pretty good! Remember the first tbing I asked? Do you have a broken stem or stem rot? Only a few tbings that make a plant fo south that fast. You were scrogging that girl, which puts sttess on the main stem. When you have soil/compost packed around a stem and it stays too moist...stem rot is a possibility. Once the plant gets a little stem rot, it slows down uptake. Making the soil stay moist. While the stem is rotting and you are weaving the plant, it can break under the soil and cause immediate shut down. I called it that pic you showed right away. I said it was dead aleady. It was too late already. Scrogging dodnt cause the stem rot, Compost on stem did...but Training helped to break it. It would have went south in a while on its own if it was rotting, the pressure of trsining just speeds it up. Actually that is better thsn dtaghing it on. Lesson learned. Tie your plant up to a Chop stick or something if it stretches vs piling up organics on the stem. In fact, AVOID top dressing near the stems too. Keep it away from main stem. I dont even go close. If you are keeping the SIPs moist and adding Compost and the cover is sweating....that is a recipe for stem rot if used too closely. Think about what you want the Top.dressing to do. You want the organic material.to break down, so dont want to break down the main stem. Its all good, that didnt happen overnight. Just be aware moving forward. You use worms and top dress more often. So be mindful. Peace, slow

Actually I didn’t have any compost by the stem! I only added plain seedling soil around it when I pulled that plastic bottle ring but it was stretched so tall I had to add at least 2” of soil around stem while still in rootmaker! Stem seemed firm and fine and dandy when I pulled it like a week ago but obv it had issues already beginning! Also glad I didn’t listen to anyone and try not emergency procedures to save it dragging g the process out! Already had a diesel cookies soaking for about 8hrs in shot glass with a lil urb naturals! I’m just gonna put it in jiffy puck prob for a day or 2 while I got the big box ready to go for round 2! I’m glad when I topped juniors off with build a flower stuff today I took the time to pull the straw and stuff back away from being against the stem! Tomorrow I’ll get a pencil or something and make a Chanel around the stem so compost is pulled back some and not right on those stems even tho they are further along and way healthier I am not chancing anything! Thanks and good observation buddy! I had no clue I had created a situation where stem rot could happen but lesson learned!

Holy cow, it has only been 3 days since ladt update. This strain always amazes me with its speed of growth. Today is day 15 and the plants are doing awesome! Loving the light and loving the Homemade SIPs. I will add a splash of water to each one tomorrow. I have only added 2 splashes of water since I filled them! The growth is amazing for the amount of work I have done. As stated before, I have been running 1/2 full rez vs full tez during first 3 weeks. Once you guys see the pics, you will understand why. This watering tech is superior for root development and is proving first hand the advantage of running 1/2 full during this time. I expect the water level to go down faster during this week, by day 21 they will require waterinh more often. I am so happy with these 2 plants! I will be buying a bunch of Sour Cracks once they drop.again! I have been a fan since day 1 of Sour Crack. Not many true 8 week strains, this is an 8 week strain. So I only have about 6 weeks left on these 2?! Lets see these 2 kick ass for the next 6 weeks!
Day 15 Sour Cracks!
