Mephisto Genetics Testing some Mephisto...for Mephisto!

Holy cow, it has only been 3 days since ladt update. This strain always amazes me with its speed of growth. Today is day 15 and the plants are doing awesome! Loving the light and loving the Homemade SIPs. I will add a splash of water to each one tomorrow. I have only added 2 splashes of water since I filled them! The growth is amazing for the amount of work I have done. As stated before, I have been running 1/2 full rez vs full tez during first 3 weeks. Once you guys see the pics, you will understand why. This watering tech is superior for root development and is proving first hand the advantage of running 1/2 full during this time. I expect the water level to go down faster during this week, by day 21 they will require waterinh more often. I am so happy with these 2 plants! I will be buying a bunch of Sour Cracks once they drop.again! I have been a fan since day 1 of Sour Crack. Not many true 8 week strains, this is an 8 week strain. So I only have about 6 weeks left on these 2?! Lets see these 2 kick ass for the next 6 weeks!

your going to need a bigger tent!

Thanks again @slowandeasy for the detailed information which is highly appreciated! I observed that in SIP people plant the seedling at one end of the container ... why not in the center where the seedling would be at the same distance of each wicking zone?

BTW I just found here a shop which is selling a SIP which is 15x15x15 inches .. what do you think about it (has an integrated overflow system and wheels for easier moving)?

I’m a rookie when it comes to SIP growing but I noticed earthbox made containers that shape/size compared to rectangle but the people that had used them were def not a fan! The soil can only wick water up so far so the deeper the soil is the harder it is to get water all the way up there! @slowandeasy will know if I’m remembering this correctly!

Hey Señor slow is this possibly coming from my reservoir being drunk in less than a day?? Seems like toofless takes full gallon every day and noticed this today even with feeding that much so thinking may be being used in less time! Hard to get back to it so figured I’d ask before moving plants around!

Thought leafs canoeing up meant needed water??

Ok I figured it out it was empty already BOTH WERE! Also had to put a couple nickels stacked under the drain end cuz it wasn’t level and was leaning lil bit in that direction! I’m gonna wait to water dinafem girls so I can pull them again and check water before lights out! Guess they just need more now than reservoir holds so glad I noticed the leafs doing that! Think I’m learning some!

The reason for planting at 1 end is for top dressing ease. This gives you more space and easier access. Plus planting on the opposite side of feeding tube makes the roots stretch for water. Planting in the middle makes life harder down the road. I prefer low profile SIPs more so, dur to wicking height and it also allows for more vertical growth.

:shooty: TIP:
Make sure EarthBox is level - use a level to check and check out the light while you have the level out .....

Now we return to our regularly schedule program!

Maybe...but Sour Cracks usually stay small. They are growing rapidly.

Looks like they are set to explode - might get tight and Mark will have a new problem but what a nice problem to have!
