Hi all,

i need some information on THC-A diamonds and how they should act.

I'm 100% sure these i have are fake, sorry no pic, i would just like some confirmation from people who know about this kind of stuff to give me some clarification so i can show my friend. My friend says they should act as they are but everywhere ive checked says prettey much otherwise, hes saying check the altnoid forums, i shall not!

When i heat them up, they melt but turn straight back in to a crystalliine substance, its really hard, not sitcky unless heated and it doesnt stay sticky long, striaght back to glass, i have done this on a knife and it leaves a hard residue behind which is hard to remove, heard that is a pine rosin thing..
I tried decarbing in the oven at 115 for 40 mins, it did not melt but turned slightly yellow, it did clump up some, heard that is a pine rosin thing again, i have also put crystals in gin, it did not dissolve, even water as control just incase, heard pine rosin dissolves too...These are clearly fake. Im now trying to tell my friend, he says we must ahve f'd it up, thats how it should be.. They have virtually 0 high aswell. Smoked a lil on the side of a j when they came. Super horrible and super harsh. These diamonds are fake, but he wont accept it because his altnoid friends have told him otherwise.

Can people please provide legitimate information on how THC-A diamonds should behave, how decarb should work, if i can or cannot, as he say's F it up, i dunno how i can but hey.. hes on the altnoid forums.. He wont listen to reason, he says it should act like that, all sources ive found id trust say otherwise but yet still he will not budge. He says it being done wrong, we f'd it etc. I say theyre basically just pine rosin or alike.

THC-A diamonds should definitely get you high with high potency. Whether it was actually made from cannabis, pine or other resins/terpenoids, if it has no effects and is "super horrible" to consume, it's surely not high purity, such as >80-90%, THC as it should be.

Decarbing shouldn't matter, won't significantly decrease or increase potency of a concentrate if smoked or vaped.
