Gardening in chairs!
Maybe I need that when I garden just after a few bong hits.
Otherwise, standing up too fast, loss of vision, hits me too often, haha.
Along with seeing the great white circle of the back of my retina.

Am I late to the party?!?

My main crop will drop after summer solstice -- no giant trees in typhoons for me this year, thank you.
But here's a volunteer that I found in my old pots.
I had ripped her out by the roots, literally, as I was first pulling weeds (those weeds, not these weeds).
Popped her back in place, and she kept on going.

Guerilla grow, no fancy card with details, dates (don't know her birthday!)

I think this is her heritage, but as she's a volunteer, ... who really knows??
:bighug:Maria luv, how ya doing? ...happy to see you return for another interesting guerilla run this year :cool1:
LOL- nothing like a mystery child to get this gig going! She's looking good, acting tough and apparently wants to get busy early... interesting, since she's a volunteer and been under ambient lighting from day 1,... This will be fun to see how she behaves and performs, she could be a keeper!
Hope she's the one! I've spent a ton too looking for that Skunk I remember from the 90's. The Death Star Ohio cut smells like it in veg and then loses it, great bud though. I just picked up a few skunk beans from a guy in Hawaii, we'll see later this year....
Ditched the Sour Diesel I've grown a few times, Nirvana I think, just couldn't find a girl with the right terps. I picked up some AJ's Sour Diesel BX3 from Cali Connection for a spot in Willow's garden. Looking for that special one to turn to auto.
Happy growing!
...me too man! I had a butt clencher moment with it when the first 4 seeds didn't germ' worth a shit...:wtf: Same MO for this process as always, but they didn't like it at all! A couple cracked and stalled, the others, nuthing... Sowed and waited a week, then exhumed them to see WTF; rotted out, no surprise....
Next round I changed it up a bit, but same sort of start (2 cracked after the overnight soak, 2 didn't even after going to paper towel method) but I sowed anyway and eventually they popped up. Maybe this cultivar doesn't like that soaking stage, even just overnight...?- a new reaction to me but there it is!

Too bad about the SD, but not surprised... So much of it out there, so long since it was "new", so much pheno drifting/breeding changes, etc.,..
I hear Karma holds a tight line, kept "true'... Cali'Conn could be a winner too, fingers crossed - :goodluck:

Well there’s gonna be too much foot traffic this summer so I’m bowing out for 2025.
:dammit:bummer Mason, you're a core contestant! Too much visiting "activity" I gather? ... damn if I could find some Freakshow (fern leaf looking cultivar) it could be rather amusing, at least in veg' stage... :smokeit:

@Waira
Official entry for autos and photos.
:cool1: damn nice selection Jean, and I love the new kids being out for testing!
... I'm trippin', though HB was an auto...? -- oh BTW, the link to your site is gone in your signature area...

I try n steer clear of using names with suggestive references now days like Blueberry, Candy, Skunk exct. and aim for a more personal name so I'm not way off the mark once it's a finished product if there ever is such a thing.
I don't believe any work of art is ever really finished just abandoned...
The name game is pain! Homage to the parents is good, but not always practical or even accurate to the namesake... poly-hybrid fun
Must admit I'm a sucker for a rude name... ...I so wanted Mathunsa Thunderfuck just for the name....
Too funny! ...turns out, I have it from solid authority that MTF wasn't really a single cultivar unique to that valley, but pop culture went there! Same deal as Lambsbread and Big Sur Holy, if ever there was an true blue it's been lost in the scrum, and who would know otherwise at this late stage?!
For MTF, apparently anything grown in that general vicinity got branded as such, what with catchy names and that comes with it...:rolleyes2:

I have some Original Haze seeds for this coming summer.
Seeds made and shared by a growmie on another forum.
It's actually a cross of two Original Haze lines.
Mother plant is haze from MadMac (see https://original-haze.com), father is Positronics haze from Tom Hill.
Probably the two best sources for pure Haze, according to many, that are available these days.
Will be running those later, along with some more goodies that are mostly Neville's Haze / Thai type hybrids.
No shizzle, MadMac? That's who made Doors x OHz, got to know him pretty well when he was at that small private forum... But the usual hater/shit speaker/doubter call-out crap caught up with him as it ALWAYS does with "Haze", Original or whatever... Sourcing, credit-to's, all that makes for contentious (cuntentious? LOL) beefing and the like... Mac left after that followed him there... ICFrag is where I last heard he was at, oddly, as it was there that a lot of this shit happens! :face:... that said, he made a Project out of his Haze quest and worked it proper IMO, got what he wanted ( hi holy grail high haze long lost since the 80's) and made a metric shit-tonne of great crosses/side ventures along the way!
He shared another metric s-tonne of seeds all along the way, very kindly done indeed - :cool1:

Deep Chunk original @Shiva's Mistress.

I got to Play with it....and there was a Lot of goodness went into it...gave me admiration for his Skills as a breeder.....:toke:...great job.

I Almost bought the Haze too...but I've had Haze from LBH...straight from his pocket..... ....and they did diddly squat for me.......so I didn't.
TH done good for the canna-world in my book! ..glad you found proper DC stock to play with again :eyebrows:
LBH is well connected, his Hazes were tops and he works them like a champ too... his auto's were ahead of their time way back when!

Yeah,, first time growing a volunteer for me.
Given my luck, there's a good chance this is the special plant just waiting to show herself!
She was the weed in the weeds, haha.

Hehe, you know.
My lord, the crazy stuff in those haze threads, would drive anyone crazy.
His new site presently has so many haze type crosses, its unbelievable.
Like multiple original haze / pure haze types, crossed with each other, with outstanding sativas like the best of the Ace lines, Sannies strains, top landraces from SE Asia, even a few autos from DP like the Skywalker, Orange, etc.
A bit pricey, but there must be so much fire in those lines, for sativa lovers.
He since backed out of ICM even, too much of the cray-cray.

My beans are from someone else, though.
Very generous give away it was.

Ok, back on topic, sorry for the distraction. :P

Close to frosting tonight at 35 degrees, lil scarry! :yoinks2: Big swing to 80f tomorrow. I just planted 51 tomato plants yesterday, hopefully fingers crossed that they will be ok.
Started some Grape Kush f4 fem auto's to see how they do outdoors. Grape Stomper OG bx crossed to OG Kush auto
Happy growing!

Sounds like they weren't stored very well before you got them. I tried popping some beans last month I had left down in Indiana 4-5 years ago just sitting on a shelf, I know they saw some warm temps with no summer cooling. I got 1 out of 30 and 5 out of 30 on another strain to pop and go, several just opened the water leaves and stopped.
I know the Aj's from years ago was some great herb, stupid priced $400 oz's. Hopefully Cali's bx is it.

I did manage to pick up some of that twenty20 limited skunk photoperiod and some early finishers for next season.

I just spread over the past few weeks 6 units of wood chips around the property. Yard is looking amazing. I’ll have to take some more garden photos the raised bed is going off with veggies.

She's already shown serious hardiness,...ripped out, replanted,... the seed itself went on a bit of a journey a-natural :smokeit: ripened, dropped, sat and waited for the right cues... The first round of natural selection done!

I just visited his site - 😍 - I see many familiar crosses from his time at that little private forum, grows of some too! But he's certainly been busy since... :woohoo1:
So, he's out of ICFrag after all 😅-- small blame!
