Here I go

-- touchdown in da ground!... GH, I forget what gotcha last season, bugs/ants vermin farming on your girl or something like that?
I was thinking, if so, maybe set out some of that ant bait stuff that's made of boric acid to
discourage the locals from annexing your plant!
Consider trying SNS209 (Sierra Natural Science), that's the rosemary oil based systemic I use that makes the plant taste like ass to most bugs, so they FO after sampling... It's not a panacea, but it really helps IME -
I love Clematis...but I could never get them to root from cuttings..

... when hubby retired we took a year off and I decided I was going to fettle it...
I got pots..and stackable boxes so the water would drain through and took cuttings off all my clematis...over wintered them...
And come Spring they had just about all germinated....

... I had over a thousand...
Lucky the guy at my favourite Clematis nursery was over the moon to get them and I got my pick of the new crosses I wanted...
Have you grown this where you're at now, or is it too bloody hot? ...Another really cool one is Dutchman's Pipe, outrageous trippy looking flowers!
...wait, you talking seeds or cutting here? 1000's gotta be seeds

That over propagation reminds me of a very interesting plant, Geranium maderense... neat-o attractive foliage, a bi-annual I think, puts out this cloud of blooms that then seeds like mad... everywhere.... pave stone cracks, gutters, neighbors lawn -

you'll have a volunteer army!
Some folks love/hate it, usually they enjoy the flower cloud for a bit and then whack it down before it over-seeds the 'hood
I see the grapes are gone, had enough of that hey?

-- small blame!
Your kids look fab' Aunty, I gather you're looking to lock down that finger dab pheno' better?
