@Waira update on the photoperiods. I'm still working on keeping them a bit more tame this year. I did a bunch of defoliation and cleaned out some of the lowers.
Honey Badger R1 definitely excited for this one she's super dank already.

The Rev R2 what a beautiful plant. I'm looking forward to seeing her flower. Always a stunning plant.

Helter Skelter is looking ready to transition. I have run this cultivar outdoors the last 3 years now and it's always seems to flower early thanks to the ruderallis in its lineage.

With one eye on the predicted heat dome due to hit...

I was hoping to keep them going another week...the seed is still a bit tight wrapped....

But this forced my hand...see just off the right of my thumb.... caterpillar........on the first bud I checked....

I'd been seeing brown dying leaf for a while and suspected the caterpillar that gets inside the bud and kills it from the inside out...so I probably have a few.

It is the one outdoor problem that still gives me grief.......most effective caterpillar killers need to be systematic....and I gag at sticking a systemic killer into something I'm gonna consume.

@Jean-O ....that leaf/stem joint... bottom right.... :pass: ...that is the first I've seen like that... unusual..to me... really catches my eye...:headbang:

The Honey Badger was my favourite...until you mentioned the burning metal taste/smell......now I've got to look for another favourite...:pighug:

Another visit to water and check up.
Sun still strong and hot, up to about 34C.
No rain, apart from 5 minutes the other day that evaporated in about another 5 minutes.
But I may not be able to visit them in the next few days,
so best to top up her water supplies.
Watered until there was some runoff from the holes in the bottom of the container.
Probably about 10-15L total, I'd guess.

A range of pics.
The whole plant, and various shots of the four main tops.
