Live Stoner Chat The '25 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

Live Stoner Chat
Got back from my trip to find my jar of premium sour d bud for my pictures had been ravaged by a 🐀 🦨 👩 yes the wife! And a ladies night party at the house in progress… at least she saved me a bowl of her tortilla soup which was killer.

Hey guys and gals! Long time no see.

Awesome to see everyone's harvests and bud pics.
Some serious weight for some of you, @Jean-O @Mara Cachafa and @Green Hornet -- big lb badges for you!

After my drone security crash out, I'm starting to move ahead.
Secured myself a super stealth delivery from Sensible Seeds of ACE Zamaldelica regs, auto Malawi x NL fems, and couldn't resist the cheap Tropical Mix regs, and they threw in a bunch of awesome freebies and promo seeds that are all nice sativas or sati-dom plants after I explained my growing situation, including ACE Panama x Malawi, Orient Express, as well as some Pure Love #8 which are mostly Santa Marta Colombian, Cannalope, and Royal Queen Amnesia Haze.
Paid for 25 beans and received 70!
A few of those are in the tissue paper right now, the auto Malawi x NL, auto Amnesia, and photo reg Pure Love and Zamaldelicas.
And I still have three little Haze (MadMac's x Tom Hill's) that I received a while ago, same as those ones I had with cray cray vigor.
Starting so late, it's a bit crazy of me, too, but gotta fill those jars.
Hoping to make an auto x photo cross with these reg seeds.
Wish me luck!
I'll post a pic or two here, just in case you thought the outdoor season had finished already.

Guessing some of you people are already freezing and the show's about to fall....

Love & Hugs,
~MJS
:bighug:Maria luv, I was starting to worry...
Great news to hear you've found a new spot! Looks like you got a phat hook-up too :woohoo1:
The auto's should do well, Zam' makes some super fine bud... there are some interesting pheno's to be found from what all I've seen from several grows. You got reg's of it? ACE only offered fems, but maybe freebie stuff was passed on to the seeds banks?
PM and OE are good'uns too!

It's a good spread you have here, with short-med-long cycle plants... figure the auto's will go about 3 months, as neither have shown to be fast.
Lots of potential in making your semi-auto cross! Who and what though will likely be done on the fly as they shape up.... :goodluck:

Mason, have you noticed how much heat the packs generate, and if they are releasing significant amounts of water vapor? I saw something about this,...
Basically it's a form of Fe that reacts with O2 to form rust (iron oxide). The process is exothermic, releasing heat. I think this is what's in those hand warmer packs too? My concern is how much and how long that heat is on before the reaction stops from lack of O2, and how much the RH% raises (if at all, not sure about this)...
Looking them up, the size of the pack matters a lot vs. how much air space is present. Most of the brands have some sort of chart and explanation about this, so at least there's some sort of guide!
My plan is to find some sort of fairly rigid container to put the buds into, them gently seal it with the least amount of air I can pull without crushing/collapsing...
I'm looking at putting in both a dessicant pack and the O2 absorber, and finding some way to place both out of direct contact with the buds but still leave them well enough exposed to do their work 😁

😍 ...loving those Acers, the Japanese one with the weepy branching is one of my fav's!

>>> I took more dry porn pics... :pimp: Pimp Daddy time!

Of particular interest to @Jean-O and @WildBill -->

Crazian - dense gummy stuff as expected; aroma is stable so far, still a familiar sort of nice mild sweet-fruity-Kushy blend. The buzz isn't as heavy as most Kushy types, pretty even balance head/body; potency is solid -

>>> Speed Racer - still not well tested for buzz qualities, but she's uplifting day weed for sure! Aroma holding as described before so far, some notes hard to define...
Or rather than O2-absorbing packs and maybe trying to vacuum pack, perhaps consider sealing in an inert atmosphere. For ex., if you have access to dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide), just put some in each container, loosely seal it (allow air/pressure to escape), and seal it up once the dry ice has fully sublimed. This does not remove water: still put in a dessicant packet.
