Live Stoner Chat The Cannabis Encyclopedia by Jorge Cervantes

LED's get a good mention too.
One thing that doesn't get a mention is CMH, Ceramic Metal Halide which are full spectrum HID grow lights and are a combination of HPS & MH technology combined together.
Hopefully at some point soon,I will do a write up on them here in AFN but I got a ton of work to do in the next week, so it will be after that.

The first cannabis book I ever bought almost put me off growing canna....my Second canna book was Jorge Cervantes.
The first was so technical I got readers block..:crying:..but Jorges was like sitting round the table talking to your Mates about it.

Very Simple to read..and understand...not at all pretentious..just good straightforward instructions that Work.

At the time I bought mine it had nothing about Autos..they were just invented....and LED lights about the same stage of development.

The Only complaint I had was the way the book was Bound...after loads of reading and rereading..and rereading..the pages started to drop out...and if I remember rightly it had a Load of Overgrow Links..and Overgrow closed by the time I read the book..so it was a bit Frustrating..but I Imagine that is all cleaned up now.

My first proper grow book was Marijuana Growers Guid by Ed Rosenthal & Mel Frank in 1990 and was pretty tecnical but a great resource at the time. Before the internet my only way of learning about cannabis was by buying books and magazines.

The problem with paperbacks is that they are normally just glued together & after a serious thumbing, I have lost pages too, I plan on buying the hardback version of the "Cannabis Encyclopedia" which I would imagine is stitched but also cost £54.

Jorge is a man of the people and the way he put his information across is nice and easy, I like this very much.

Just received my my copy of the "The Cannabis Encyclopedia" and had a quick flick through and it look awesome.
gonna make a coffee and a vape and have a nice relaxing day of reading :D

The book was written by Jorge Cervantes (Jorge is pronounced - Haw-Hay which is the Spanish pronunciation ).
Jorge Cervantes is one of the most experienced and prolific writers of books about growing cannabis and published grow guides such as - Marijuana Horticulture (Medical) - Marijuana Grow Basics - Marijuana Outodoors (Guerilla Growing) - Indoor Marijuana Horticulture - Marijuana Indoors - Jorge's Rx & is a frequent High Times contributor.

I chose next day delivery from Amazon, expecting it to arrive on Monday. Imagine my surprise when my door bell rang on a Sunday morning (10:30 AM) and got handed my new book. I was still a little bleary eyed but soon perked up when I realized what it was.

If you have a spare £23 I would heartily advise getting a copy.

Here is a youtube video so you can see what is inside :D
