spice is awful stuff. had literally a couple of hits and ended up thinking i was going to die! worse thing was i only did it to be polite and it took me down! nasty, nasty stuff.... anyway saw my mate introduced to the joy of vape and left him with a couple of mini nuggets to see him on his way. he's steering clear of the artificial stuff now so fingers crossed he'll be back in the green fold!

quick update - the crafty is going very well. bought some iso and gave her a good clean. my mates have started buying them now too. almost everybody who has a go on it ends up buying one! the best example was a pal of my brother's. this guy is pure old school - he took a bit of coaxing but when he had a go and hit his first crafty high he said 'fuck me, this is what smoking in the 70's was like!'

took me a few weeks to fully make the switch between trad joints and vaping but i put this down to the nicotine fix i was getting.

absolutely wouldn't be without the crafty now.

I use crafty for while use time about 70 h, and my crafty have problems with charging, although vape quality is the best, but service just suck, if i want to sent it back i must pay shipping to them, its sad that no other vaporaizers dont hav that vape quality, because if they have i probably use them.

I bought a Crafty after my Arizer Solo drowned in an unfortunate canoeing accident . Unfortunately, I just never liked it. I tried to convince myself I did after spending all that money, but after only 3 months the heating element went out and I was excited to get myself another Solo. I never even mailed it out for repair.

What I didn't like about is that it was too hot for me (even on the lowest setting) and would make me cough and gag. It was real sexy! I was also concerned about how hot the plastic got during use and what gasses it might be releasing. The fact that it didn't hold a charge for more than 1 session and turned off every 60 seconds was annoying.

What I did like about it was it's portability and the loading feature. Pretty cool in my opinion and very user friendly. Wish someone could marry the Crafty design with the Solo for the prefect vape.

Quick tip for cleaning: I found that if you soaked the parts in hot alcohol and rinsed with hot water it was much faster and easier to clean.

Crafty - One year on.....

Oh my God! Still as into it today as I was a year ago. I became so enamoured with mine that I had to buy another one as a reserve! This is what I've learned:

The Crafty works fantastically well with even the tiniest pinch of gear. On average I was loading mine half full and getting battered off it. My bro (whilst going through a dry patch) suggested trying a 'pinch' - Fuck me if it didn't do the trick! Like a marvellous little one hitter without the hassle of the smell and keeping it on the low whilst out and about. Now, I have no qualms about walking through the centre of london happily hitting the crafty and getting beautifully high without anybody being any the wiser - well, maybe fellow crafty users might suss me out but that's yet to happen.

S&B Returns service is first class. My original vape that i bought this time last year developed a fault where it wouldnt take a charge - I got onto them and they sent me a prepaid address label and they'd replaced it in a week. Top drawer service.

For cleaning, get yourself a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. i had to do a bit of searching and the first one i tried was from boots but it was mixed with some bullshit castor bean oil or something which left a horrible taste on it. eventually i tracked down the good stuff which was just iso from a black hair supply shop. i think there's a bout a litre in a bottle and it's around 2 quid. - when it comes to cleaning, i read somewhere that it's advisable to only soak the the cooling section and mouthpiece for no more than an hour but that still leaves the unit with quite a sticky feel. i banged mine in and left it for most of the day and it was great. really easy to clean after that.

finally, a lovely by product of the crafty is that my mrs has got into it. we've been together 25 years (i know i don't look old enough) and whilst she's never had a problem with me blazing, she's never been into it because she's not a smoker. i asked if she wanted a bang on the crafty expecting a polite refusal and she said 'no, i'll give it a go' and the rest as they say is history. she bloody loves it and it's opened up a whole new world to us. it's like having a new bird (hope she doesn't read this) It's a beautiful thing!

so, I still remain a huge fan of the Crafty, it's really, genuinely changed my life!
