Boerenjongens coffeeshop in Vondelbuurt, one of the best coffeeshops in A'dam, hands down. Friendly people, great strains. Original Dampkring, in the Rembrandtplein, my favourite coffeshop, I more or less lived in here for the best part of 5 years. Grey Area gets a pick, but it's pricey, and they turn up when they want. 1e Hulp, also a nice place. De Pijp,and De Tweede Kamer, worth a look

Hello Fellow AFM Forumites!
I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I am going to The Dam this summer for about 5 days and would like to get some recommendations for Coffee Shops to visit, I know I can read reviews online all day but I would like to hear from some of you with recent first hand knowledge about these places. Also any other cool places that you visited whilst there. Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions!

Also, I forgot to say The Green Place. Lot's of Devils Harvest stuff in there, I got the Rollex OG in there, and OG Reek'n. I liked the OG Reek'n so much, I got a pack of their new auto version.

ive always hit bluebird cafe up...havent been there since maybe 2012/2013 though but they always had some really nice strains and buds...had some candy kush from there and it was ridiculously nice before! my mate was just there 2 weeks ago and said the 'cali' shit has all taken over and grams of weed are being sold at like 30-40 euros which he said ruined it a lot for him...

30-40 Euros? I was there 3ish months back, I must have visited 10 coffeeshops, I didn't see any weed at that price. Concentrates, bubble hash maybe, but no bud. The most I saw was 18 euro a gram, which I just laughed at

I've been looking up some of the coffeeshops mentioned here and gosh they look wonderful.
I went to Amsterdam nearly 20 years ago. We didn't venture much from the Bulldog, that's where we stayed in dorms too. We were all young and naive, we smoked, drank, did mushrooms and pills.
If I went again I'd like to think with a wiser and older head I'd take in more sights and experience more places!

I think he went to some specific shops but he said he wouldnt mind paying if it was good but they wouldnt even show the buds before...he said it really put him off so he went with the usual 10-15 a gram..

It definitely did...we get all this cali hype over in the uk and i was annoyed it spread to dam when he mentioned it...

That market/freetown area is too definitely a winner..the hash was really nice and a very good price...was odd for me when i went there to have such a setup still happening ...
