So I'm using the info from here to make a batch of CS. I'm using a bubbler, in a quart jar of distilled water. I have my silver wires about 4 inches deep, set about an inch apart. Power supply is a wall wart I bought from Radio Shack, 9v, 800mA. Planning on running the setup about 20 hours. Its been cooking about 3 hours so far and I've cleaned the one wire twice. Cost of the setup is around $50.
I have a run of mi5s going and plan on just collecting and freezing the pollen from the lucky turned girl this time around. I'll do the Pollenating on the next run.
Ok, thanks for the tip. To my detriment, I tend to follow "More's Law" at times. "If a little of something is good, More's better"
Hi guys If I may jump in here and pose a question or two on this subject.
#1. You can use pollen taken from a Female that has be turn over thru the use of CS and use this pollen for just painting a few branches of bud on a flowering fem..Right?
#2. Can you do this procedure in reverse so to speak and just spray afew branches of a flowering/preflowering female and have just those produce pollen and have the plant pollenate her self ?
#3. If so would those seeds taken then produce hermmies ?
Thanks for any input

Yes correct on 1 and 2.
On 3 - good question. Wether by spraying a plant introduces a hermie trait that will travel down the Genetic line - personally, I doubt it.
However to be safe - let the reversed pollenate other females which have not been tampered with and discard her own seeds.
If it's hobby work fine - if commercial - testing for hermies is essential.
