They are all 14-15 days old, 3rd sets starting.
Recovering well from a rough start.
I know they are stunted.

Monday they will be moved to their final homes, 5gal smart pots with 1.5:1mix Fox Farm soil / perilite ( found it cheap here ).

1 of each will also have airdomes....My experiment... Ill do the smaller ones

While i grabbed the soil, they had the FF organic trio of nutes, so ahh heck. Ill follow the guide i read on these forums.

Ace franchise a couple blocks had it all.. the 2 (1.5cf) bags of ff soil, perilite (2cf), and the three ff pints...$75 out the door!

any suggestions or observations to help are welcome.

I figured they will explode next week.

My question.
Since they are a week stunted size wise, when I transplant into the FF, should my first 2 waterings be PHd water only, let them recover using the nutes in the soil, then follow the forum guide to FF nutes, only drag a week with the schedule?

Or

Go ahead and 1/4 dose it the first watering when i do actual transplant....

Plenty of nutes in fox farm soil, may even get a little nute burn as the roots adjust. So yeah , plain water observe plants then decide.

20-21 Day

Moved to final home

5gal Fabrics

Medium is what I am dubbing "Surf -n- Turf" . It is a 50/50 mix Black Kow and Fox Farm, then mixed 3:2 with Perilite and a 1/2 cup fresh powdered egg shells.

I then watered each 1/2 gallon with a 7ph well water mixed using fresh picked pink grapefruit squeeze to lower from natural 8

Lights are 300w Blurple full spectrum 23" over each, 24/0

Update this morning

plants of one strain had a slight discoloration. Yellowing in leaves, with dark veins.

It was only one strain. The other was ok.
I know some strains in other species differ in nute requirements, ph, etc. so I figure nature is no different here. However my first hunch is a low ph reaction from kow.
So...I decided that having only given a half gallon pH water yesterday and all leaves were perked back up in an hour... i would give all a natural well water 8 pH half gallon today...
let the waters high ph balance with soil.

Ill have a look tonight and tomorrow to see responses.

I know soil growers successfully pH their inputs on this forum, I'm not sure if natural citrus is the way to go.

Idk how stable it is, how long it will hold your pH stable, or if the extra minerals are helpful or not. I do know plants need phosphors so I use dilute phosphoric acid in Coco.

Just did for thought
