silly thoughts carried over from my "grow log"

People often think of mj as some fragile plant that is lucky if it makes it thru it's life cycle. The fact is tho, it is actually a very durable plant (weed) that can suffer through some very harsh treatment and left on it's own, suffer through horrible growing conditions and still survive.
No matter if it is a plant, a fish, an animal or human, the will to survive in every living thing is actually pretty darned amazing imo if you stop and think about it for a bit - especially if you give some thought to the actual process. The cell division, the roots carrying the nutrients to the rest of the plant etc etc.......something as seemingly simple as a plant is actually an extremely complex thing that wants nothing more to complete it's life cycle and will go thru some amazing things given harsh conditions in order to do so......

Of course we like to "baby" them in order to get the highest quality things that we desire in the plant (thc), but if you just took a handful of seeds and threw them in a field, the odds are more than a few of those seeds will grow.

Given thought, it's actually pretty bad that we kill them so "easily".

Of course some strains are much more sensitive and do require more "care" , but on the whole, mj plants are basically like a weed in that they can grow in conditions that are really tough. Instead of weeds growing thru those cracks in the asphalt, could just as easily be mj.
may not be the best smoke, but it will grow

Now that I have thought about it, going to make it much worse if I do kill one off.......

Of course if you have read Cleve Backster, or are aware of his research, you understand that there is a lot more to a plant then we give them credit for.

anyway - stupid post but just thoughts I had as i am doing my best to kill one off in a dmc "experiment"

Ahhaaaaaaa,

Good post by the way, good to hear the heartfelt stuff.

With that being said, I think the odds of a seed/plant in the wild on its own, has far less of a chance of making it full cycle without us. We create the high germination rate, and the plants grow with small internodes, and large buds because we coddle them.

I do get your drift, I think it a bit silly that I freak out over stuff, usually the wrong stuff

Thanks

Peace
