Thanks all for good vibes and rep. I let them dry out for a few days to try and keep the beasties down. They dont seem bothered still putting on weight see what you think of my ladies just gave them another feed 1.5ml/l fish mix and 3ml/l bloom. View attachment 153795View attachment 153796
Hey all I have been letting the plants dry out between waterings. To try and keep the spring tails down a bit and I was speaking to the guy in the grow shop about them. He recommended using liquid oxygen View attachment 152345 at a rate of 1ml/l to try and combat them. I thought what the hell worth a try and added to my water before I added the 3ml/l bloom and 1.5ml/l fish tea. They certainly jumped about a bit more than usual but we will see.
One of them has got what looks like magnesium deficiency but has been putting on weight on so I wasn't really bothered but decided that the plant has just about metabolised all the leaves under the canopy and is starting bad on the leaves aboveView attachment 152355View attachment 152356 so I added some of this View attachment 152349View attachment 152350
I went to feed my ladies as I had let them dry right out and I watched the run off expecting hundreds of the little beasties as usual. I saw two from all seven pots so I think the liquid oxygen at 1ml/l is doing the trick combined with drying them out. awesome stuff
