Indoor Think different grow!!

I'd give them some PH'ed water and check your run off's PH.

Firstly stop watering every day. Use the pick up method it never fails. Pick up the pot and its heavy its fine, light its time to water. Let it dry out some between waterings. The plant actually likes that alot it allows more oxygen to get to the roots that the water displaces. Ive got 2 grows going. One tent with photoperiod plants, the other with autos. Growing Think Different, Wappa Autos and Fruit Auto. There 2 weeks old Ive watered once. The big tent with my OG Kush in it. I water maybe 2x a week sometimes 3 but thats it. There 30 inches tall as well.

Id suggest at 30 days of growing you add some nutes. Basically you have watered out all of the nutes in the soil and the plant has consumed them. Start off with 40% 50% recommended amount and only nute once a week.

What kind of soil are you using?

Over all the plants do not look that bad. The yellowing seems to be nearer the bottom. The plants have a overall droopy sad look. Looks like over watering.

I do know that as you run out of nutes in your soil you will eventually see a yellowing of the leaves...its basically cannabilizing itself to stay alive.

Yea I no longer water everyday. It's been about 3 days since I last watered them n they seem to look more limp daily. And I only give them a lil more than the average sized bottled water. Only once or twice have I even watered enough to get runoff. I'm confused on whether the .. amount of water I'm giving is just drying up or jus staying in there and building up.. if they are limp I water and maybe 12 hours later the leaves perk up again, then they just go limp again. It's like I either do to much or to little..

Well a slight droop is nothing to fret about a droop where its all bent over leaves shriveled thats something to worry about.

What works for me like I said is the pick up method. I never really worry about what they look like in terms of a droop from no watering as there never under watered. My watering I do which helps maintain the PH balance of the soil is a a very through over watering where there is significant run off. As the soil drys nutes, salts build up and the soil gets acidic. I do all of this in the bathtub so no issue with a mess. I add my nutes or supplements and I only use the base nutes once a week. Every other watering during the week is PH 7 water with supplements.

Never have a issue with this regiment. I also use airpots as well. Theres no way you can over water a plant in a airpot. After 30 min of sitting there ready to go into the tent again. Well you could if you submerged them but baring that I dont think its possible.

day 29 update!! PLEASE HELP TURN MY GROW AROUND!

-ok its been 29 days since they broke the surface., ive been having yellowing problems which may have been caused by lockout. i gave them veg nutes for the FIRST time today at day 29 even though bud sights are clearly visible thoughout all of them, is this bad? will this take growth away from the bud and give it to the stems, leaves?? i have flowering nutes but since my leaves are yellowing so bad i figured some veg nutes might help...Any advice would help..its disapointing looking in my tent and seeing they are getting worse not healthier..
( i know your suppose to use flowering nutes when vertical growth slows and i think my vertical growth has slowed maybe even stopped even though they are still pretty short compared to plants of the same strain ive seen here, i still chose veg nutes at this point)

also when i used veg nutes today i got the ph of the water to about 6.5 so i hope they can take in the nutes. i also need a automatic water ph tester, the liquid dropper test i use where you match the color to determine ph is kind of hard to tell because it always seems to be between two colors so sometimes i know its more than 6.3 and less than 7 but i dont know the EXACT ph . (this may be why i keep getting lockout).

some pics are with flash and some are without. so u can see the yellowing more clearly.

you need to know the ph of the runoff as the ph your putting in does not reflect where the media is that, Your plants are dark green there no way there under fed

When I test it what can be done if its to high or low? Can I cut the yellow part of the leaf off? Not the whole thing, I mean if half is yellow and half is healthy can I cut off the yellow part?

if its to low dont ph your water or do it less or use ph+
if its to high ph your water lower
leave the leafs alone until they droop and can be pulled off

Thanks for all info man. I hope I can salvage some good bud from these and that today's first feeding doesn't just cost me more problems.:peace:

one option is to flush them thru. Use 3x the plant pot volume and use pure water. That should break up any nutrient lockout or pH issues

If you do that take note of the plant pot 'wet' weight and be careful not to re-water until they need it.

good luck

**day 30 update**

DAY 30 UPDATE!!!

IMAG0502.jpg

heres a pic under my 400w hps, as u can see yesterday i was having some yellowing/drooping problems so i gave them their first feeding of veg nutes at day 29! ( 1/4-1/2 tsp of floranova veg nutes. )

also the leaves on some are touching the front of the tent (plant in bottom right corner) so when i zip it up they cant stretch and get bent down..should i trim the leaf since it has yellowing anyway? this is also my smallest plant even smaller than my sour d so i Considered maybe just taking it out so the others can thrive but im not sure what i can do with it..

If u look close u can see the very bottom leaf is almost completely yellow and its touching the soil so i may just remove it..

IMAG0499.jpg

" think different "in a 5 gallon pot. the other three plants are in 3 gallon pots, the one in the 5 gallon is by far the biggest....interesting...

heres a pic of the same plant ones with the flash on and one has no flash but u can see the leaves have perked up since yesterday
