Thanks again. You guys are great. I will try to trim a little and otherwise leave her alone.
Don’t trim any leaves that will leave a piece of stem inside of a bud…. This is a recipe for bud rot…..Thanks again. You guys are great. I will try to trim a little and otherwise leave her alone.
Exactly! So only like the fan leaves on the branch itself ?
Yeah, so far, everytime I think I've taken too much off, she comes bouncing right back. Think I have growth too far down on the branch/ root. I only have about 2-3 inches between the ground and first branch. Should I cut that or take some dirt away ? Qrazy Train Auto, got it from Growers Choice. Should I get a current photo ?I have a tendency to defoliate almost daily, taking a few leaves 2-6 with some rest in-between. This has not caused any issues with my FastBud autos, they seem to be pretty resilient. Your results may vary....enjoy the journey!
2-3 inches is too close to the ground, presuming the plant is say a foot or more tall and depending on lower leaf density. We really need a picture to be able to recommend a height. Remove the offending bottom branches (vs. removing top soil). Generally, you can do well with at least at least 20-25% of plant height as free/open space at the bottom. Others may suggest more space...... I only have about 2-3 inches between the ground and first branch. Should I cut that or take some dirt away ?
