for you newbies like me that often wonder about every little sign and thing.... this is what bud rot looks like for sure!

Trying my hand at a couple plants (first timer) I've had my share of just about a little bit of everything go wrong, lockout, fungus, brown leafs, soil ph all over the place and now some bud rot ...but my girl is still holdin on..good thing I've been researching as I go to find out what all these things going on are...well I did some LST to the plant and my main cola got really thick...I was in the habit of spraying some water on my plants and really soaked the buds to give them a drink as they looked a little dry..... and I guess the main cola was not getting enough air ...had to cut the top off a little bit to get rid of it ..in the pics you will see where I cut the top, the inside of the top, and a quick fix to spread out the really tight buds to get some air..when I opened them up you get a nice stong smell mmmmmmm! ...you will notice the wires spreading the buds....

question...how to you get the pics to be larger when posting ..all my pics are small compared to the other posts....I am using picasa to open and save my pics and never had this problem on other forums before thanks

They look small now but when you click on them they are ok and then if you want them bigger just hit your zoom and they are really big.:booya:

Just click edit and then go advanced.... if you move your cursor over the pics there should be a little pencil in the corner... click on it and you see the option to change the picture size to full size click o.k and boom big pics.. You have to do it on each photo:peace: Si

nice explaining P-man, and good solution too, after all bud rot is one of the most crushing thing to a grower after months of growing, neither ways, much respect to that

Thanks it worked for me...you might want to check my other posts as I am a newbie I have some other things you may want to view......brown leafs, my new 'bud'bowl', fungus among us, my water cure journal, h020 water bath, just started my deep water journal, and more ..and most everything that could go wrong ...but my plants survived!
