I just did a Penis Envy Uncut MS innoc on a rye bag 3 days ago, and I have a Treasure Coast LC thats about 7 days old with some nice chunkies in there.

I don't do grow logs of pics with that kind of thing, even canna. I will show you guys a pic or two here and there, but never a full log. Were I live thats asking for trouble.

if so you do you feel it's pretty simple?

dude wbs was a huge pain in the ass...... im switching to rye berries no matter the cost.... got a 20lb bag at whole foods for 30 bucks but i just sourced a company that will send me 50lb bags for 20 bucks shipped since i am in there area of delivery.

I agree. WBS is a pain in the ass. Not to mention messy. Seeds get everywhere, clog the sink, etc. Rye is the best bulk ive found. Ive had good luck grinding WBS and mixing it w/ BRF and red quiona when using PF cakes. Theres a good recipe for cakes if you search 'supercake'. Make sure its the one w/ red quiona.

Those are "supercakes".

My favorite TEKS are Rye berry or PF cakes, liquid culture(turns 1 syringe into 1,000,000!), and plain verm casing. When I use PF cakes, Ill always crumble em into "flat" or "crumble" cakes. Just crumble cakes into dime sized chunks in a baggie and mono-tub or verm case... The pic w/ all the pins was a supercake crumbled and mono'ed:

Im done mushing now that Im a legal MMJ caregiver, and still have tons of prints and supplies... Id like to clear em out...

Not me. Ive heard it works OK in a pinch, but not as good as Rye, or, when ground, BRF. A guy on one of the mushie forums uses it for stones. I never had any luck - tried MEX-A and ALT-7 and never got a single sclerotia. Just nasty, soured substrate. Maybe I shouldda tried popcorn!

nah if you have issues with that series you should use rye grass seed for sclerotia from what ive been told

Yep. Rye grass is the perferred TEK. I didnt have the funds at the time. Around here it was over $20 for a tiny lil bag.

Hey guys, just stumbled in! I've always been a wild shroom hunter but just recently decided to take the next step to cultivation. Turns out my growing partner was doing the same thing independently. We pooled resources and found we had exactly what the other was missing :buds: I love it when a working relationship functions well. Anywho, those super cakes you speak of, do you have much personal experience with them?
