Good morning AFN Grow folk
Yesterday Plants were great, but getting to bushy so did major lst and light defoliation. Girls this morning droopy. Also a feed was done at 11pm last night. All runoff ph and ppm great. So this is my first auto grow. I have been growing photos for years. The autos seem so sensitive in comparison. I love the simplicity and less labor required for a perpetual harvest with autos so I will continue and learn. I am confident in 2 days plants will back thriving but man this is a learning experience. Any comments on photo would be greatly apprieciated. Cheers Chef

How long after lights were on did you take the pic? Also i defoliate autos with no problems. But i only take the leaf. Not the stem. I think by only taking leaf it's got all the nutrients in stalk to continue feeding on

Hey still smoking, I only clipped leaves about 1inch below leaving most of stem these were large fan leaves I couldn't tuck. Light is 600 watt hps set on super lumen. Light had been on for 12 hours before picture taken

Thanks Namvet. I will be less aggressive next time with training, I just wanted a even canopy and more cola sites.

Welcome to the world of autos @chefdave. I know some people are against this, but defoliation, lst, and even supercropping on autos is fine. I've personally never had a problem with doing it, and feel it helps the yield more than just having a Christmas tree would. The only noticeable thing I've noticed with some autos, is that they seem to be prone to Nitrogen toxicity..
