New Grower Total Newb

Hello all,
I am going to attempt my first grow and after reading some of the journals here, I think a auto pot is my best option. I also would like to use airdomes but local shop doesn;t carry them. Does anyone know where i can get them in the US? Thanks in advance for your replies

Amazon didnt have them and Ive decided just to do straight simple soil in a tent. I just got my tent and 600 hps with dimmable ballast and and a couple of other supplies at my local shop. I will take pics and when im setup. I do have a question about my soil though..The guy at the local shop told me OF will be fine for my soil and I dont need to mix anything else in. However, Ive been reading that OF by itself is rough on the seedlings.. Ineed some expert opinion on this.

Indeed the OF is said to be to hot for an auto seedling. The best thing I have heard to do (and what I will be sure to do next time) is to use a non-nutrient fortified soil, scoop out a softball size hole in the OF in the pot and fill it with the non-nutrient soil. This way your seedling can start in a neutral place and grow into the fortified soil. Sorry but off the top of my head I don't know the name of such a soil but I am sure someone will let us know.

I am going to germ in rapid rooter and transplant in OF that way. Should I still get the non nutrient soil? My beans haven't arrived yet and Im still in the setup process.

I would ffof is going to burn up that little plant its used more if you transplant later on or atleast that's how I always did it

I finally got the tent setup
Tent 32x32x70
Light 600hps with dimmable ballast
The pots in the pic are five gal can I grow two healthy plants in that space or should I drop down to 3 gallons pots instead? Also should I add some cfls for side lighting? Any other suggestions of what I should get is welcome.

I also did a 3hour test run with my light to see what temp I will be working with in the tent. It was 86 degrees Farhenheit and humidity was 16. What numbers should I be shooting for?

71 to 78 and have good air flow... Question what are air domes or did you mean air pot?
