New Grower Total Newb

HI JB..I would go with promix HP..nice light soil ..Im using it for a hole grow..with my FFOF I mixed it with FFHF half and falf got a great grow out of it..now if you have a hot soil add some myco and molasses to it let sit for 30days watering 1nc a week with molasses ..then 35-45 days soil is ready..I plant directly into my TLO with no problems..I have 2 different batches of soil going ..my TLO and slightly amended pro mix...look around for who is growing what you are about to grow and see what the person with the best plant used for theirs and get some pointers on the strain.:smokebuds:

Im going to do 1 auto white widow and one auto diesel berry. I think two plants is all i can handle until i get the swing of things.

I set up a exhaust system for my light and even though the temp went down its still at 91 degrees. Is it still that high because I have nothing in it yet? Just the light and ducting system. Will the temp go down once I add the pots with plants in it? or is this something i still need to fix?

Okay I finally got my beans and they are in rapid Rooter in a humidity dome . The temperature fluctuates between 79 in 81 and the humidity reached between 65 percent and 75 percent is that too high? They are under 2 23 watt CFL bulbs at 6500 k daylight. As far as with soil I have the ocean forest cut with some perlite and a small section in the middle of the pot that is just local topsoil that I got from a local nursery . How long does it take for the beans to sprout?

Hey man your RH% is just fine for veg just make sure you get it down to 40-50% or lower while in flower. Your temps are little high but they should be fine. Seeds can sprout at any time from as little as 2 days and up to 2 weeks sometimes. Hope you have fun growing man wishing you the best of luck.

Thanks good to know that I'm on the right track :-) what do some of you use to water seedlings due to them being so delicate ?

I soak my bean first till I get a tail then into their forever home for fem and 1/2 gallon pots for regs till sex...first 2 weeks I feed them water and jumpstart for root growth..then 1/4 tsp of grow and jumpstart..wait about 2 or 3 weeks before nutes and dont over water..water around them and not on them to make them chase water and you will have a great grow ..try to get temps between 75-80 at pot level..Pot level is very important ..warm roots lets the soil dry out and get more air to them ...Put your pots and soil in the cab and check the temps again..get more AIR to bring temps down or keep tent open till you get a bigger fan.

Cool thanks for the great info and tips. When you say pot level do I put the thermometer on top of the pot or on the ground next to the pot?

Okay so I got sprouts :-) two outta three have sprouted the third one has a root sticking out of the rapid Rooter so I put that one in a pot as well. Tent scene to stay in the low 80's and high 70's. My only concern is by humidity. Seems to be very very low no matter what I do . It jumps from 20 to 30 percent most of the time. Should I be concerned?
