Live Stoner Chat Total noob intro ^^

Hello,

I am a total noob concerning growing (except mushrooms which i grew with success for a few years). As I'm not used to grow plants, I need a system which will be easy to install and easy to run. I searched a lot among different forums but find some impressive grow report on AFN. That's why I'm here despite the fact that english isn't my mothertongue.. hope you won't mind.. (the french forums didn't reach your level of knowledge at all).

I disover the aupot system with AirDomes on this amazing post :

And I really like the autocob LED too but as you need a driver, a heatsing to complete the install, I don't think I will be able to do it myself. Also the one that @BigSm0 functions with U.S. plug and I live in Europe so don't know if this can be adapted. Maybe I will use the GoGrow, the same as @Hansbricks .. I read some good report with the Mars Led too so.. I still have to investigate the ligtht question. But I'm sure in one thing: I want LED.

Well I'm still searching the best way for me. I am not rushing. Maybe I will only start in 2 or 3 months, the time for me to finish my investigation on the best method.

I'll add that I'm vaping, I use the plant for relaxation, meditation.. oh and yes I like to enjoy the high of course ^^. I haven't test lots of strains until now, due to fact that here people are selling ganja without saying which strain it is. I want to test plenty of strains, until I find the one which will really fit me. That's why I'd like to start growing.

Hey man welcome to the forums and thanks for checking out my grow.

Yeah definitely do as much research as you can before starting, you'll find all the info you need around here... If you're interested in the Autopots then be sure to check out that section and read through some journals, I've got a detailed Autopot Grow/Guide here which would be a good place to start.

Yeah LEDs are definitely the way to go. I'd recommend the GoGrow LED over the Mars lights but both are considered older tech now. Going with the latest COB LEDs would be the best route to go. The AutoCOBs you mentioned do come with the driver and heatsink... they are meant to be plug and play. I'm pretty sure the driver accepts universal voltage as well so you would probably just need a plug adapter unless @BigSm0 offers that as an option, best to PM him for details.

Welcome to afn. The Autocob is a complete light ready to hang. Being in Europe I don't ship them with the ends so you would t need an adapter just a small cord with your own end. I can supply everything to make the connection though. Let me know if I can help further.

Welcome to afn ,plenty of great knowledge many different styles and methods,and some of the nicest folks,great place to start and the funny thing about growing your own it always turns out better than street herb,well at least in my opinion .
