Mephisto Genetics Transition to Auto only grows?

Depends... for me? Or for others? For me and a bud or two, autos all day...
If I need more than that, regularly... shuffle feet... photos... consistancy is where it's at if yield is the goal... good mother and clone clone clone...JMO, autos are close, just a little too much sibling diversity for market.

I prefer autos for the reasons already stated.
Speed and variety are what I prefer. I grew one photo-140 days total. It was big. But not big enough to justify growing only photos. Because my biggest auto yielded over double what that plant did. 10oz

I switched from photoperiods to autoflowers because I could run my led lights around the clock, which I did until I changed to Autocobs. I also liked the shorter time to harvest. I don't need big plants, just enough that sufficiently deals with my pain points. It turns out that I enjoy growing autos more than photos and doubt I'd ever go back. Many auto seed breeders are running at a higher level of quality compared to some years ago.

Any reason you don't run the autocobs 24/7 @AutoWonders ? I previously ran my two auto grows at 18/6, but I think I'll do 20/4 on the autocobs..or so you guys like 18/6 on those lights?
They are such bright, penetrating lights that I decided to move to 20/4 and give the plants a bit of a breather.

I prefer 18/6 on any kind of light, I am in the camp of the plant needs rest, and we find we get some awesome growth in the dark periods, when the plant droops and she 'sleeps', and heals.....Now I have seen many get fantastic results on other light schedules, which we have tried. I find 18/6 gives me the HEALTHEST plant, not necessarily the biggest, but just flat out health. Which I strive for in my grows, a healthy lady will express herself to her genetic potential. You will see bunches of threads 'Whats wrong with my plants' and most point to deficiencies and/or something feed/food related... Rarely do you see read of anybody telling others it is a virus or pathogen, as this is much harder to prove, but IMO it happens more then not. We strive for health.... If the lady is healthy, she will yield and produce.

I ran 24/7 first part of last year, it works, but I've backed down to 20/4 now too... plants look happier over all, and I didn't notice a difference in yield or density on the couple ladies I flowered that way in the fall.

Very possible there is a point of diminishing returns...
