New Grower Trapper's Scrimmage Grow (Semi-Micro)

How could you doubt the Devil?
Told you the day wasn't over...
I'd take the other two seeds, pot them up and gift them.
If that's not a possibility... might I suggest get devilish and do a guerrilla grow...

Both those options crossed my mind...I'm not gonna gift this first batch...no one around here that I know
rolls with AF's so I want to "drop it like it's hot" on all these guys...and wouldn't want any one to steal
my thunder. I want them to burn a bowl of this purple majesty, comment on how dank and delicious it
is, and then (and only then) tell them it's an AF. :) :O

Guerrilla would be cool but it's snowing right now...not sure that's conducive. Give it some "Walls of Water"?
Ala Tomato fame?

Yours already has lift off, mine doesn't...so I'll hold on to the 2 that are paper toweling while I confirm
lift off or not. It's color changed a little...it was crisp, new growth white and green and now it has darkened
at bit...I got the light off of it within an hour of noticing it...but IDK enough to know whether it's okay or not.

I gave it just a touch more water and sprayed it with Oxygenated RO a couple times to see if it's color
would come back...but I don't want to over-monkey with it.

Congrats on your new baby lol, the stem will change colour a bit for the first couple of days. I havent had a male yet only germed 12, but i would be surprised if many turned outthat way at all. And the good thing with autos is you will know within 14days if male. I would think your light will not harm it and if you think it is just move it furthrer away would be my newb advice. Good luck on a massive harvest of purple

Thanks, Kyliekay!

Stick the other two beans in small pots and get them under your LED. Use them to practice on. Keep them small so they don't interfere with your main grow.
As a newbie Lst was very nerve wracking. So try it out first on your spares. They were only going to waste anyway right?

I may...but there are some concerns there..

I don't have the best ventilation for this go, I don't want extra plants absorbing CO2 that would otherwise go to the Queen D
and I don't want the cab filling up with o2 faster than it can be replaced with CO2.

I may just small pot them and let them reside in the corners.

Hey Trap, congrats on your DD popping her head out man. Just leave her to get on with it now - as you rightly said you don´t want to monkey around too much - I´ve seen seedlings killed from too much love! Those Sweet genetics will do a lot of the work for you bro!

Okay...

A little preface about why I had 2 seeds paper toweling even though there was nothing wrong with the seed I soil germed...

If you've been following this thread, you know I have limited time to get this first grow done before going to Hawaii.

So with exactly 66 days until we are getting on a plane, 48-72 hours is not an insignificant amount of time.
Especially considering that I will have to cut earlier to allow for dry and cure.

The soil-germed seed (Henceforth to be referred to as "Queen D" because she was first and has the 3 gallon airpot castle) had not
popped the day before yesterday, so in order to insure something to grow and enough time to grow it, I had paper-toweled
the 2 remaining Dark Devil seeds, just in case I had mushed Queen D. Time was, in this particular case, of the essence.
So, it wasn't impatience or any sort of distrust of the Sweets...

Well...Queen D is fine and the 2 other seeds (Henceforth to her referred to as Pawn1 and Pawn2) exhibited tap roots today.

Long story short (too late?) I just couldn't trash 2 viable Dark Devils that hail from half way around the world. I just didn't have it in me.

So Queen D takes first priority...the Pawns do anything that hurts her ability to prosper, they get handed their walking papers. They are Serf-class.

But I figure I may try to prune in a manner that they grow one small main cola a piece and add to the overall yield.
That's the game plan. Their super-small pots should stunt them quite a bit as well, I imagine.

I'll be hanging a couple Exhale Bags to help augment the CO2 and expel the extra O2 produced by the pawns.

Looking good trapper, loving the purp.
In the words of Stevie wonder... "Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful, isn't she precious, less than one minute (+ a few hours) old" :)
Your setup looks the bees. Looking forward t this little grow. Can tell she's in capable hands.
Hope you find a use/a home f your other wee nippers. Be a shame t see em go to waste.
