OK I have finally decided to get a trimmer no longer can I put myself through the endless hours of trimming.. it’s funny I had a friend who got to see my latest run, the whole time he was saying how he couldn’t wait to trim them (his a newb) anyway I tried to warn him.. trim day comes and after one plant he has the face of defeat it was pretty funny!

But back to subject matter I want to known if anyone here uses a trimmer I’m looking at buying “toms tumbler” if I remember rightly. it’s basicsly a horizontal net cylinder then rotates and tumbles the weed breaking the leaves off it’s pretty gentle compared to the blades trimmers I have seen, but yeah any recommendation? I know I will be sacrificing some but it’s worthy in my eyes the trim job is just painful lol

I know people who use the bladed ones, but they don't like how much kief gets knocked off in the process and generally just do it by hand. How many plants do you have to hack up? I thought Hattori Hanzo had some wicked swords to chop trees up with? I mean, I get goosebumps just thinking of that scene. :pass:

Lol hattori steel is no match for this sticky sticky. And well 18.. (soon to be 27) but I’m basically a one man army so that is just not realistic hand trimming not to mention the window before overdrying isn’t much

Where you at? I have an Oregon handlers card and can take plants down pretty fast and efficiently. Once they are dry I'm generally good for 2-3lbs a day dry trim depending on how tight they need to be.

You could stagger harvest on some plants and also when you remove your fans you could leave some on a few plants to make them take a tiny bit longer at drying. The more you remove the faster they are dry, keep that in mind.

No where near Oregon buddy, but yeah I leave everything on when drying, stalk and fans etc still they dry up pretty quick here; ohh did I mention I’m allergic to weed lol

No worries! I just love cutting it up so I always offer my helping hands ha ha I think I am a little allergic to it as well, when it is green, but dried it doesn't bother me at all. Kind of weird.

A rare gem, everyone I met hates trimming, but yeah me to as it goes when it’s dry I don’t really get the skin irritations. But do get blocked/runny nose if there’s loads of plants in the room. And vice versa for when there green

Do you use Neem cake meal? I have found that neem oil doesn't bother me at all, but there is a binding agent that is used in neem cake meal, I can't recall exactly what it is called. Anyhow, my skin was exposed to that stuff at work and it got super rashy and I sneezed and got a horrible runny nose. And I asked my med friend who grew the weed I got itchy over and he said he used neem cake meal. Anyhow, just a thought to watch those little ingredient too, because they can be the worst. Just like buying groceries. If you can't pronounce one or more ingredients because it's a scientifically created chemical and name, don't buy it is my opinion.

No neem oil, I was reading and your a lot more likely to have weed allergy if you have hay fever which I get pretty bad and anyone can develop it through exposer apparently, but yeah chopping plants just feels like a mid summer pick nick
