my tap water is actually pretty good ... comes out the tap at 20ppm and pH6.5 i seem to be very fortunate living up in the mountains with some nice waterand after i mix the nutes 90% of the time they come to 5.7-5.8 so i add it to my res and the little pump i have to circulate the res seems to raise the pH up to 6.2 before i pH back down to 6.0. i usually have to do this once a day for 2 days then it remains stable for the most part. im pretty sure where i went wrong was gave them too much Astroflower resulting in salt buildup and the pH slamming down resulting in lock out. this has happened to me in coco a cpl times and i guess i need to pay more attention to my TDS levels and runoff PPM but im lazy and forget

Interesting....... I've run my solutions at 6.1 - 6.3 the entire grow and not a spot on a leaf anywhere ( except for the mite bites...... ). I've always believe people run hydro solutions at too low of a ph. When I did DWC, I switched to higher ph and never had another ph related issue.

yea pop ive noticed that with my plants that the substrate stays at 6.4-6.5 amd wont budge no matter how much i flush. the buds definitely do grow slower tho than when I pH to 6.0

Saw mention of the airdomes and possible problems. Here's my solution: don't use them! lol! Why? Because..... see example: Ohh and straight coco too.

im putting them away for a grow or 2 @pop22 so i can fine tune growing with my new COBs and then when i have the ability i will try the Autopots out again when i dont mind risking a grow i just need a couple good grows again which i am getting from my plants that wernt/arnt in the AP system
