What's up guys. I decided to make a thread in the auto section since I am growing an auto along with my photos. This will be an easy Ryder grow.

Specs are:

Lighting- 210w LED agromax high output.

Soil- Promix BX.

Nutrients- Dyna-gro. Grow, bloom, pro-tekt, mag-pro.

Pot size is 3 gal. I plan on buying some AN additional nutes later down the line.

Here she is a little under 3 weeks old. Flowered just under 2 weeks.

Whats up guys, heres a pic of her after doing some heavy LST. I exsosed 9 fresh tops to my 600w HPS. Shes still just under 3 weeks old and shes LOVIN it. This is going to be a big girl.

Me and this girl have been getting along great. She's nice and calm just like me. She grows at a tremendous rate the first 2 days after water. Doing constant lst to her exposing new tops every day. She seemed to say to me that she understood why I was bending her and decided to go along with it. I'm getting anxious!

Hey guys. While I was looking at the easy Ryder tonight a thought came to mind. How can I expose my lower popcorn buds to light without removing all these fan leaves? So I played around with each side branch to see how I could manipulate the fan leaves to allow light into the lower bud sites.

The solution I came up with is something I like to describe as "fan control". It's exactly that. My technique is to simply gently tie my fan leaves together in a bundle to allow the lower shaded bud sites to turn upwards. I still tuck a lot of fans. The combination of these two techniques should go together well.

Here you can see how I've pulled all the fan leaves on a side branch together then used a piece of tie wire to lightly hold them together.

I haven't read of anyone doing this before (to my knowledge not sayin there isn't). So I'm hoping this will work out to promote more branching and to help the popcorn buds become solid 2-5g nugs!

I don't think this will be very stressful on the plant. Seems like it shouldn't be to much worse than tucking a fan leaf. Anybody have some thoughts on this?

Here is a before and after.

Looking good in here my friend, great idea on the fan leaves. :smokebuds:

Sup guys it's been a while. She's doing good truckin along. I decided to go ahead and do some defoliation. I just can't stand buds being shaded, I lose sleep over it! Anyways she slowed down for a few days. However despite the laws of nature defoliation still works. She's beginning to fatten up. I haven't been counting day as days have no value to me. But just as a guess I'd say she may have a month left in her.
