Well it is time for the winter grow to start, Jan 1st 2023.
Seeds are in water
The Early Miss is a stand in for SS Thunder Banana, I received photo seeds instead of the autos I ordered, oh well!
I am modifying the RS autoflower bags to make things easier, I hope, lol famous last words, lol
First off is a 10" dia steel ring to keep the top from collapsing inwards when picking up the bag by the handles.
Then I made up some microclimate liners from some goretex backed nylon and used the steel rings and zip ties to keep everything in place. They only go down 12" in the 15" tall bag
The soil is from my last grow with some additional worm castings, com lobster compost, perlite and some more NLS autoflower soil conditioner. There will be a layer of large#3 perlite on the bottom, then my soil with the center core being straight
HFfor the seedlings tap root to grow in.

Same for me since I ditched the paper towel method and went to a 3-5 hr soak then straight to media with a fancy plastic cup dome… my germination rate has gone through the roof almost 100% most beans are up in 3-5 days
