New Grower upgrade fom 150 hps......250 or 400 hps?

Hi AFN, I'm upgrading and my question is should I get a 250 or a 400 hps? I want my buds a lil more dense than the 150 sun system I have. While it does do a good job, the hood is too small in my opinion. My space is 2 by 3 and 5 foot tall. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. I've grown outdoors for 15 years but only about 1 year indoors thanks!

I would go with a 400 dimmable balast.........

I've also seen dimmable 400w systems that I believe dim down to 250w if u can't make the choice. I thought about that but I'm not trying to grow more than 4 plants so I got a 250w for my 4'x2'x50" closet and will through CFLs in if ever needed.

Thanks guys....I was thinking the same thing about the 250 cuz I'll only run 2 autos at a time and I get 2 more ready under a sun blaze T5 infill the ones under the hps are done........but I don't think the 150 cuts it for me.......plus I guess it's where I'm used to growing them big buds outdoors. Have any of you guys tried Short Stuffs gear? If so, whats the best one as far as potency and not too Damn big.

So far Dinafem and Sweet Seeds are rock solid!!!!! Mwsmoker..........how's that 250 doing as far as density?

Haven't used it yet lol I should be receiving it tomorrow for my first kvs and pineapple express grow. Hopefully it should work well especially with the ability to use mh and hps bulbs

I've had good results from the 150 so I'm sure you'll be happy with the 250. I'm gonna order mine in a couple weeks. I'm going for the power house magnetic ballast.
