So i get a package in the mail today from attitude seed bank, its been opened and taped shut by customs with a letter that says that the seeds were not authorized to enter the us, and phyto-sanitary certificate is missing? What the hell? Where is a safe place to buy seeds?

What the hell? Where is a safe place to buy seeds?

I've bought twice from Marijuana-Seeds.NL. Their stealth is *very* stealth. I had to look twice to find the seeds in the second shipment. They respond to emails promptly. Had a mixup on payment with the second order (when their credit card processing was down and wire transfer instructions contained an error. They worked with me to get it fixed up, and ate the wire transfer fee.).

The only potential downside I've heard is that they don't publish the breeder of their seeds. But, mine have grown well.

Someone said weed-seeds.net is a sister company and that the same strains are shown there along with breeder names. Don't know if that's true.

Maybe another downside is that they don't provide the tracking number. The package has a tracking number which can be looked up on the Royal Mail web site. But, m-s.NL doesn't give it to you. That may be part of their stealth. If it doesn't arrive, they can look it up. But, until them, only they know which piece of mail is theirs.

I always did the guaranteed stealth option. I figure they have more skin in the game and will take more care. But, I've read that it's better to do untracked, no stealth. That customs is less likely to open an ordinary envelope than a packet containing merchandise and/or bears a tracking number (indicating there is an intrinsic value inside).

For new growers I think m-s.NL's "value packs" are a huge benefit. You get a lot of seeds to make mistakes with. I.e., a new grower will feel less stress about a $4 seed compared to a $12 high-end (breeder-specified) seed.

I had the same thing happen from an Attitude order order. It got stopped in Chicago and the package arrived with green customs tape wrapped around it but I had paid for their stealth delivery guarantee. Contacted Attitude and I just had to seed some pics to them and they backed it 100% so I still use them today but I'll always pay a little extra for their guarantee.:peace:

Hi Smoak,

Being in the US as well I have always felt that buying from companies in Canada raises less red flags then buying from companies in Europe. I have purchased from MJ Seeds and RCMC without issue. I know there are a lot of US folks here that do use Attitude, Herbies, etc and have never had an issue; it is always a little bit of a crap shoot.

Did you get the guaranteed delivery option from Attitude? If so just contact them and they will make it good

Good luck

There is another thread on this. It seems as if your package goes through Chi Town, it may get confiscated. Usually the guys on the west coast. If your on the East Coast, it goes through New York and there hasn't been any problems that I'm aware of.

+1 to them. I have around 30 seeds from them, was like 3-4 different times I ordered. Stealth as well. Never once had an issue. Also always seem to be adding more seeds, have sales going on ect. I am very happy from them so far

herbiesheadshop.com

herbiesheadshop.com

or more specifically, their auto flowering dedicated, stand-alone site:

autofloweringseeds.com

Although I do think there is some truth to some metropolitan hubs being harder to get through....i.e. Chicago.

I ordered from Herbies, came through NY and got here lightening fast. Would buy from them again.
