I'm sure I can throw something together for tips to contribute here, but I'm defiantly not the best...
I usually try to tell folks YMMV on everything and what I toss out is just what worked for me.
I do the same with reloading info too. It's always Your Mileage May Vary...
as with everything there are usually many ways to get a desired result and one isn't necessarily better than another. Lots of varibles.
Actually I was thinking about starting to dig out some real old crap over the next few days and doing a grow log on how to torture a Ruderalis.
Before the major companies got involved we used to torture females to find the strongest to veg out into a big long term mother. That's sort of how SOG came about eventually... in a roundabout way.
No need for it anymore and it probably wouldn't be all that helpful to most on here.... but....
The point of it would be to show new growers it's just a weed and can be grown as such with a bare minimum of attention and supplies.
Maybe it would help a few new growers in the future understand not to freak over every little thing and cause more damage by overthinking and overreacting.
Secondly I haven't done it in a long while and I would like to see just how tough the new auto fems are... I haven't lost a plant in about 15 or 20 years and I've never done this with an auto so it would be fun for me.
I should probably get some feedback first though to see if it would just be considered a waste of bandwidth.
I totally agree its just a weed. I have grown out many 1lb+ photos using just lime and horse manure. Don't have to get fancy to get big plants. You are going to have fun growing out the new autos! There is so much amazing genetics in autos these days! Nothing useful is a waste of bandwidth!! I for one would love to hear what you have to say.
I'd love to hear what you think of my monster training guide(link in my signature).
