Grow Room Using 600w vented hood for heating?

Hi there!

Thinking about using a 600w hps in a closed vented hood on 24/7 for the autoflower tent as a "heater" of the pulled in air that passes on the photosensitives.

Anyone have experiences with this? Seems like a good idea in theory but what about practicability?

Would push air with a 800m3/h fan through it, can a good increase in temperature of the indrawn air be expected or does it rush over it way to fast for that matter?

pulling way too cold air in winter so a solution needs to be on hand, will the 600w be enough?

I am using a loop system. Draws thru the filter inside the grow, blows thru light, then exits outside, then runs thru 10 ft of flexible duct tubing back into the grow space. My return air is warm and keeps the grow cozy without any space heaters at all. 1000wt bulb. Gives me a positive pressure in the grow area also. Hope that helps ya.

I heat building grows with 1000's so I dont see why a 600 wouldn't work for a tent
