Harvest & Curing using negative pressure to dry buds through carbon filter.

good idea? bad idea?

trying to dry in a smell proof way if possible. i was gonna chop four plants at the same time and dry in tent but 2 are much more done and i was thinking of cutting, putting a box with string or something to hang buds on next to the tent connected so that they pull air through the drying box. slow air movement not the whole intake or anything, i can connect a new duct to the box and regulate it with the flaps at the sides of the tent. just wondering if its worth trying or will that raise the humidity in my tent to the point of moulding or some other reason?..

To me sounds like a good plan, I like the idea
As for the humidity, well after seeing your epic run with that monster, I would check cautiously the first 2 days after that should be all good..

I've just dried an "early sample" in 2 brown paper bags whilst on a 12/12 light cycle. Seems unaffected by light or heat in the cab.
I would usually just chop everything and dry in the cab to keep the smell down, but thought i'd test this out.

cool sounds like a plan so,
yeh it would still have one or two fresh air intakes from a window anyway so it doesnt seem like it would be too bad just enough air to keep it from being too stinky. but maybe that will end up being way too fast to have any effect.
that and light but a few bends in something dark should. ill probably get chopping up cardboard boxes and ducting.

cool i might actually be able to dry in the tent in the dark aswell. theres a coffee table propping up the plants so under that might be another option but i would be paranoid about the light damaging thc. im sure its unoticable but just like to be careful in all stages so i wont think it could have been slightly nicer lol pointless but it keeps me happy..
ill combine ideas and have a box under there maybe.
