I am an avid vaporizer fan. I've owned several now, although mostly cheap ones. A few months ago I bought my first quality vape, the Davinci. I love that vape! I also have a Vapir No.1, a whip and balloon style tabletop. It works well, HUGE amounts od vapor! But the device itself is kind of clunky. I see an Extreme Q in my future..!
So I was offered a hell of a deal on a Mighty from a friend who needed money. I gave him $90 for it!
First impressions:
Seems like an awfully expensive hunk of plastic. And I find that funny, because you see all these so called "vape critics" sneering at the use of "plastic" in vaporizers, when they have no clue at all what they are talking about! any good vape that is using any plastic is using modern, space age medical plastics that have more in common with ceramics that Fisher Price plastic........
But still, as nice as it looks, its............plastic...lol!
Its large thanks to dual batteries, but not so large as to but hard to handle. Not really stealthy but still not too obvious from a distance.
The lcd screen and control work very nicely.the upper limit is 410F. Not sure on the lower limit. Its adjustable in one degree increments. A single push of the power button mounted on the side turns it on and off. The lcd is large and very easy to read.
The herb chamber is large but shallow, making for a larger heating surface. It holds about .3 to .4 grams.
This is a convection vape, meaning, it heats the airstream which then heats the herb, making combustion impossible at the temps it can reach. It reaches your chosen temp in about 40 seconds. And unlike some vapes, it really ready right then!
Now, the one thing I really love about this vape is the draw. Its almost as easy as breathing! The removable top cover houses the "straw". There are airpaths within the cover that blends fresh air with the vapor for cooling and that easy draw.
Vapor production is good! you can get nice clouds by the second hit.
What I don't like:
The plastic feel. I really have nothing against plastic except when its a FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR Vape!!!
And that plastic straw is a piece of crap! Its flimsy and only held in by an oring! If you buy one of these, order an extra set of straws, you WILL lose it............
The hit is good, but not great. My Davinci gets three times the hit! Damn thing is almost like hitting a joint!
The Crafty is a nice vape, without a doubt. It has the coolest and easiest draw you can get with a portable vape! It gives good hits, and it has great battery life. It would be a top 2 choice for me, but its way, over priced. At $200 -$250 it would be perfect. I'd never pay $399 for it when the Arizer Aire can be had for $269.
