Lighting Vipar LED The Manual.

I have a 1200watt vipar, and this light is epic.It is the 5 watt chipset with a 600 watt draw. It cost under$600 on ebay and was delivered in 4 days from hong kong. It can get warm but during flower you can have the light very close, you dont need to and you sacrifice coverage if you do. We usually keep it 45cm from the top of the plant. The light is a nice white as well, much better for looking into and photographing. Its much better than the old multi coloured ones. We veg 4 plants under it but use another smaller panel for wider coverage during flower

Yes it is more of a pinky color :) I like that description!! My new light does put out it's share of heat but in the long run doesn't seem to be that big of an issue. I am thrilled with it.

My blackstar was so purple that after inspecting the plant for a while under it my vision would have a strange blue-green tint for a while afterwards. Always wondered if that was healthy or not haha. I'm not scrapping that one though, plan on using it to grow my reversal plants under.

I got the 300w same specs as hansbricks and im really happy with it.i always keep mine 6 inchs from top of flowering plants.15 inchs from veging plants. I do have 2 blue lights out on it so im gonna see what they say cause its still under warrenty but im gonna wait till next week when my girl is done.i will let u know what they say.

Not going to post a pic because it really hasn't budded a huge amount more (it has just entered flowering after all) but I have to say that the Blueberry has definitely reacted positively to the new light.

The branches that were growing lazy and hanging off to the side have grown straight up to the unit. Buds that were on the small side towards the bottom of the plant have certainly bulked up.

I have to admit that I did trim the bottom 1/3, a controversial measure, but one that I think is also helping the growth of the plant.

I am seriously happy I put the cash down for this light. Amazing response for the price. Vipar is now my go-to company. Besides running a little on the warm side I can see no negatives whatsoever.

I bought a Vipar C300 (300w with 180w actual), and as my first LED as of now I cannot fault it. Only issue being that I now want a second 300w one but they no longer stock the C300, and have told me they replaced it with the 500W C500 one with 5W diodes, which I think is a shame as I'm very happy my 3w ones. Anyways after looking around I found another one extremely similar to the C300, and purchased that one.

Hey man, I just checked out your grow, really like your grow box. Can you take a pic of that light in normal light setting? Does it use reflectors? It looks a bit like this model:

This of course looks a lot like the LG model that TopLED and others sell, but seems newer with different bulb spectrum, and is labeled 'Vipar' on some websites.

Can you include any of the specific details that were included with the light? I'm pretty interested in this model.

Sorry... double post...

I've done a couple of grows now with a V240 and a V300 angled from the sides of the tent, seem like great lights to me :)
Just about to order one of their COB/Reflector C series 5w lamps as the main overhead one.

Btw, most of their stuff is on ebay and not their website!

so I just emailed them bout my bulbs out. we will see what they say and I will keep yall posted.

Yes please keep us informed. I am thinking that owners of LED panels should really take the time to learn how to replace them and get some on hand. I wonder if they will give you instructions on how to do that. I'm thinking it's just like automobile maintenance, something that just has to be done.

I think I will shoot them an email and see if they have any instructions for home users to repair their own panels. I will let you know what they say.
