So today I'm looking at the BG3S99 semi-auto, and to my total annoyance the damn thing is going into bloom! -- LBH may be too from the look of the top crown...grrrrr -fuckfuckfuckfuck! ... It's only week 5, they should be veg'ing another 2-3 weeks at the very least
Sat. when I took pics there wasn't indication on the BG3S99, so this curveball came outta nowhere! ...what to do, what to do,... this is TARFU, now I'm going to have to run a late extra, or maybe even try the Critical Sour cross of it to make up for the yield losses....

I was chatting with the breeder of the BBGG3 used, and he said the auto genes + the already fast photo' genes = higher likelihood of very easy triggering, if not outright auto'ing,... Makes some sense I guess! .... As for LBH's girl, less so since that ChemDSD mama isn't a fast photo at all,...

Stunt doubles NMKOG and BBGG3 x Critical Sour are up and going for better or worse!
I went with the -x CS instead of another -xS99v4 because CS herself is part auto (half as well?), so she'll be an easy trigger as well... likely I'll ride her and the extra MNKOG in the tent as long as they fit with the auto's, then out they go... Bonsai's for the win-

I spent a good amount of time looking around at Bluebonic last night and seems the breeder retired in 2020. I'm tripping on that because me thinks crosses of his BB and EBB would be winners in this environment.

Hmm, not a good metric to measure by unless one is quite familiar with the cultivar and seen a lot of plants under similar conditions,... so many things influence structure... As a general broad stroke, males tend to get bigger, faster, sometimes not as branchy, and show sex first. Here we have two that are very close by all measures, and one larger less branchy one that still has not shown sex yet... my best-guess call is the the sexed one is a faster pheno, and the near-twin is a girl, biggy is a male just late to show,... A few days will tell!

Where were you researching BlueBonic? I'm not sure where the HighRise breeder sourced it and GG3 from, but I know he worked these line independently for a while... HR has been retired for years now, just doing personal breeding. A new C99a is in the making though!

1/30, that sounds like what you saw was from Critical Sour; Female states these odds for her auto'ing...
